Business Trip to Schwetzingen
Was a nice hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only get 2 bottles of water for the 4 days and also only had bacon at breakfast for 1 morning out of 4. Schwetzingen is a really good place to go.

Good central location for business and highways in the area. The room is spacious, if quite dated. A good breakfast, but a bit expensive. As usual for most German properties, it is much too warm in the rooms, with no options for cooling - it must be unbearable in the summer in the southwest facing room I had. The staff was welcoming and professional.

Thanks for your review. Our rooms are not air conditioned, but all windows can be opened. In summer we close the curtains to block the sun and open the windows in the mornings or in the night. Thanks for mentioning our staff so positively.

Love this hotel
I love this hotel. Very quaint and the staff is friendly. I have stayed here before and would stay again. It is just across the street from the Schwetzingen castle and walking distance to the center of town, shops and restaurants. Their breakfast is good, with eggs, sausage, bacon, cheeses, fruit, cereals, delicious breads, juices and more. They don't have air conditioning but there is a floor fan in the room and the windows open. The hair dryer in the room worked great; very powerful. Shower was a little tight because the shower head faces the tub door instead of the back of the tub, which is very deep. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well.

Motor racing trip to Hockenheim
We had a great time in the Achat Hotel, the staff were attentive, courteous and were most helpful when we had a problem with our transporting vehicle when part of the exhaust fell off. The food was really great, especially the buffet night.

1 night trip, on business in the Heidelberg/Karlsruhe area. The hotel was OK- room was a bit dated, and the bathroom absolutely stank when I arrived (all windows left open for the afternoon seemed to help) The other issue was that the WiFi didn't work in the room (despite being told by the clerk that it would) but it worked in the lobby, so was fine. Aside from these things, it was fine. I wouldn't have a problem staying there again for 1 night, but I wouldn't specifically seek it out. On the upside, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Decent Hotel
The room had too much "fragrance" product in the air. As others have mentioned: breakfast is just OK, free parking behind the building is limited, street parking is also tight. Towels are very thin! The cost of the hotel is in line with the overall quality.

Excellent for Hockenheinring!
Went to the Ferrari Racing Days weelend and the hotel was fantastic given its proximity to the circuit, the restaurant was also excellent and we were happy to take clients there.

Nice Hotel in Unusual Location
ACHAT Comfort Hotel Heidelberg / Schwetzingen is a little out-of-the way from Heidelberg and a bit difficult to find. It is also located with a residential complex so parking of large vehicles is difficult. Overall the hotel was nice and the staff friendly. We found the rooms a little hot but the beds were comfortable and the breakfast tasty. For a one-night stay it was perfect. Most of the guest were business class.

Good value hotel in Schwetzingen
Conveniently located hotel. Downtown, dining, train station, etc., within walking distance. Rooms facing the side street can be noisy because they are too close to the main thoroughfare leading to the city center. Ask for a room facing the inside parking lot. No air conditioning in the rooms and opening the windows does not help if the temp. is 28 C. The staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast, included in the room price, is excellent. Overall, a good stay for the money if you can live without AC.

ACHAT Hotel Heidelberg-Convenient
Overall this hotel was as expected and good value for a 3 star hotel It is close to Heidelberg and within an hours drive from Frankfurt Airport. The room was clean and comfortable. I paid for internet service and it was okay but not 100% reliable. The bathroom was in need of some updates and smelled musty.

It's a nice place
The hotel is small, and very nice. It's a nice walk into town, with lots of shops. Parking is ok, but make sure you have a small car. The internet only worked for a while on our first night there, but they still charged me for it. Over all I did like it and would go back.

Room had severely sloping ceiling. My 5'2" wife could not stand straight at the side of the bed. Free Wi-Fi was not working. I was granted an hour of internet service on their computer. Staff very friendly. Hotel is in a nice area. The 1-3 street address format caused a GPS error of about 2 miles.

Hallo Lars, schade, daß die Wartezeit Ihren Aufenthalt so nachhaltig beeinflusst hat. Unsere Empfangsmitarbeiter sind am Abend auch manchmal im Haus unterwegs, um unerwartete Aufbettungen vorzunehmen. Hier kann es dann schon zu kurzen Wartezeiten an der Rezeption kommen.

Das Achat liegt perfekt an einem Seiteneingang des Schlossparks (vergünstigte Eintrittskarten am Empfang). Bei Anreise mit dem Auto ist darauf zu achten, dass man ggf. im Wohngebiet oder an der Straße parken muss. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Insgesamt ein solides und empfehlenswertes Hotel m
Netter Empfang. Guter Service. Zimmer ordentlich und sauber, nach innen gelegen zudem sehr ruhig. Leider kein Minikühlschrank vorhanden. Parkplätze im Innenhof zwar gratis, aber etwas knapp dimensioniert und nicht immer ausreichend verfügbar. Im Umfeld Anwohnerbereich, wo es abends kaum freie Parkplätze gibt. Frühstücksangebot sehr gut und vielfältig. Gute Anbindung und nicht allzu weit vom Zentrum entfernt.

Das Hotel war seinen Preis wert.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage zum Schlosspark ist prima. Über einen Nebeneinlass kamen wir auf das Konzertgelände. Fußläufig ca. 5 Minuten. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr sauber. Die Matratzen waren gut, aber beim drehen irgendwie schauckelig. Trotzdem, wir haben prima geschlafen. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und war sehr lecker. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.
