Arnfjord Apartments offers rooms and apartments at different locations.

Both locations are within walking distance of great spas, bakeries with cafe facilities, cheap grocery stores, 24 hour convenience stores, a fish store, pizza places and hike and bike trails.

High-speed wired and wireless Internet and computer access is complimentary as well as parking.

The recommended nature embraced villa location is within walking distance of a swimming pool / spa that has the greatest number of water slides in Iceland. It is also close to a gym that is owned and operated on the spot by someone who used to be the worlds strongest man. There is a great mountain view and hike and bike trails directly in front of the houses that can take you to the sea or into the mountains. In addition to a proper town center there is a small artistic street that features among other things a cafe and a Wool Factory Outlet (that also sells souvenirs and art items). This facility is close to some stables and a horse riding school with expertise in teaching children and teenagers but which also has something to offer for adults. Another horse riding facility is close by. The National Park of Thingvellir is about 30 minutes drive away.

The nature embraced Villa location is just thirty minutes drive away the UNESCO recognized historic site of Thingvellir which is a picturesque place where the vikings set up the first parliament in the world. It is also the site where the continental divide between the tectonic plates of America and Europe is represented by canyons. You can walk down one of these canyons to a beautiful waterfall. At another water filled canyon you can go diving or snorkeling or just throw in a coin and see it sparkle on its way into the abyss. As the water is almost free of algae and pollution, it is incredibly clear so that if you do go snorkeling you might feel as if you where flying.

The route to the Golden circle has in addition to Thingvellir, the Geyser geothermal area and the Golden Waterfall. You might want to extend your Golden circle tour by experiencing the almost endless black volcanic sand beaches with the ocean waves coming from one of the windiest ocean in the world or you might want to include this in a separate south Iceland day tour to some waterfalls near the volcanic site of Eyjafjallajokull. Other day tour options are the waterfalls in Borgarfjordur and the Langjokull glacier. If the weather is very good a day tour to the Snaefellsnes peninsula may be nice, where the Mt Snaefellsjokull (volcano and glacier featured in the story "the Journey through the Center of the Earth" by Jules Verne) will provide a nice backdrop to your travel along the peninsula. The Blue Lagoon and the local pools and spas are always nice but if you are feeling truly adventures how about building your own natural spa in the mountains? We have an exclusive tour available.

There are 50 kilometers of marked trails in the mountains in the immediate vicinity of our Villa location. In addition there are other great mountain trails nearby, both popular trails and trails which you are likely to have all to yourself. In fact, you do not have to go far to experience trails where you get a feeling of the interior of Iceland, with mountain ranges, lake and glacier view. The old route to Thingvellir is another option. There is no need to go the west or east fjords to experience a fjord as there is a fjord close by: The whale fjord. At the base of this fjord you can take a 2-4 hour hike to see Iceland's tallest waterfall.

Massages and spas can be very affordable and add a lot to your vacation.

Children and teenagers may enjoy the great outdoors, the water slides, horse riding (or horse riding school) or simply the play areas next to our properties.

All locations are served by cheap local bus (with direct local bus to the city center) as well as most touring companies. Airport shuttle, Blue Lagoon, Golden Circle, Northern Lights, diving, whale watching, horse riding, fjord, volcano crater, glacier, black beach, geothermal area, short and extended hiking and other tours available.

At Arnfjord Apartments nature embraced Villa location, there is a massage/treatment room and access to a steam room. Other spa facilities are very close by, including pool and hot tubs. Various body treatments and beauty services are available including facials and pedicure. For a on site massage you can choose for instance a relaxation massage, a healing massage, a music massage or hot stone massage. If you are considering indulging in spas and various treatments, possibly at short notice we recommend this location.

The Reykjavik Luxury Apartment location is within walking distance of Reykjavik main spas. The Blue Lagoon Spa (not to be confused with the Blue Lagoon itself) and a bit further away Laugar Spa, which features 2 steam rooms and 3 saunas and access to the biggest swimming pool and widest selection of hot tubs in Iceland. Various massage and beauty treatments available.

The city center economy apartment is next door to a swimming pool, with hot tubs and a steam room. We offer our very own massage treatments in the area as well.

Various spa tours are available, including a hike to a natural geothermal hot tub that you can help build, to a steam room and pool that is heated by geothermal steam and various other pools and spas that each have their own unique feel and clientele.
