“Excellent!”

Great location, close to everything. Room was fairly small but smartly furnished giving lots of room to walk around bed and to the desk. Very modern and clean. We got a room with ocean view - super nice. Enormous and full of interesting choices buffet breakfast was included in the price. Definitely a bargain considering local prices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is fussy about the location, comfort and great value. This hotel will always be my choice when going back to Iceland.

“We'd go back again”

Location: 5-10 minute walk to downtown Room: small, no AC but window opens. Lovely duvet on the bed, nice bathroom. Highlight: Buffet breakfast in roof top restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Continental and American styles. View from the restaurant stunning.

“Inexpensive and great location.”

Hotel was very well maintained, Scandinavian modern, great views from room facing Atlantic, and black out curtains were extremely helpful. The only problem was construction taking place across the main street but thankfully the windows were almost soundproof. The breakfast and service were not great, but at least they were included in a very low high season fee. In part, due to their poor economy, but the quality of the hotel was not diminished at all by this. Would highly recommend this hotel as an inexpensive, comfortable option for Reykavik - and off the main strip, which is perfect for quiet nights.

“Great hotel. Great value.”

The hotel has a great location that is less than 5 minute walk from all of the shopping, restaurants, and clubs in old downtown Reykjavik. The room We had was nice and sleek in appearance. The only complaint I have is the shower was tight to use and I am only 5'11 and 185lbs. The staff was great and super helpful all the time. Very knowledgeable staff about many aspects of the city and made great recommendations. The complimentary wifi was great along with the free buffet breakfast and the spa. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent restaurant and viewing on top floor overlooking harbour. Good location for visiting sites and downtown shopping.
