Central Hotel, Downtown

Posted 29-Jan-2015
Pros: Clean, friendly and central.
Cons: The gaming machines could have been more giving and less keeping all of the money!
Location: Rent a vehicle and drive to Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Virginia City.
We enjoyed our stay, central location with lots of choices for entertainment, food and beverages.

Great hotel, nice to have 3 hotels connected

Posted 27-Jan-2015
The staff was very friendly. When we checked in they sent us a small bottle of champagne for our anniversary. The beds were so comfortable A+, but I wish the floor would have been cleaner in our room. Really needed vacuumed. The dinner buffet was not very crowded and was very good. It is very convenient that 3 hotels were connected. There is a movie theatre within a 10 minute walk. We would definitely stay again.

Splurged with a spa room upgrade

Posted 25-Jan-2015
At the time of check-in I was offered a spa room upgrade for an additional $50 a night. It was well worth it. Not only did it have a spa in the living area, but it had a gigantic bathroom with his and her sinks and a walk in shower that was 5 foot wide by 9 foot long! the room also had a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. The next time I'm in Reno I will definitely be staying at the Silver Legacy.

Good hotel, not enough to do within walking dist.

Posted 24-Jan-2015
Pros: Decor, walkway to other casinos, staff was friendly, cleanliness
Cons: Shuttles to other casinos that are not located in the downtown core. Fridges & microwaves should be in all rooms.
Location: We did not find enough to do within walking distance. A little info sheet in the room with "Things to do within walking distance" would have been nice
Asked for a view of the main st and our room was on the back side, overlooking parking lots.

Nice hotel. Good for the price.

Overall nice experience and stay. Room was clean and had modern fixtures. Only downfall was plugs in room were hard to find so I could charge my phone at night. Plan ahead, checkin can be lengthy. But the long line did go faster than you would think.

Nice hotel to stay at

Posted 21-Jan-2015
My family and I stayed here after spending the day in the Sierra Mountains. I booked the luxury rooms and it was okay, nothing too grand. Next time I may ask if they offer a nicer room.
