Located in downtown Reno, three miles from the Reno-Tahoe airport, Silver Legacy Resort Casino is connected by skywalk to the Circus Circus and Eldorado casinos.
An hourly laser show on the ceiling of the composite dome above the 120-foot-high full-scale mining rig highlights Nevada's Comstock era and the life of fictitious silver baron Sam Fairchild. The casino houses 2,500 slot machines, 80 gaming tables, two keno lounges, and a betting shop.
For a surcharge, guests can access the Silver Legacy's health spa, which features a Swedish sauna, spa, steam room, massage, whirlpool, locker rooms, pool, cardiovascular and weight equipment, and a sundeck.
The on-site concierge desk, located in the resort lobby, is staffed daily (7 AM to 8 PM Sunday–Thursday, and 7 AM to 9 PM Friday–Saturday; schedule subject to change). Concierge services include assistance with show tickets, dinner reservations, city tours, and ski-lift tickets.
Airport shuttle service is complimentary. 24-hour valet parking and complimentary self-parking in the garage are available. Wireless Internet is available for a fee.

The Silver Legacy offers 1,720 guestrooms and spa suites in three tiered towers connected in a "Y" configuration. Each room offers a data port, voice mail and message service, pay movies, a hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Wireless Internet access is available (surcharge).
Dining
Sterling's Seafood Steakhouse - Sterling's serves steak, veal, poultry, and seafood cooked on a mesquite grill. This fine-dining setting is dressed with white linen tablecloths and dark-wood paneling. Open for dinner, and an elaborate Sunday brunch. Reservations recommended.
Fairchild's Oyster Bar - This casual bistro features fresh seafood, including cioppino, crab cakes, and coconut tempura prawns.
Café Sedona - Café Sedona's extensive menu serves huevos rancheros to steak and lobster. Asian cuisine is served late night. This open-air casual dining spot is open 24 hours everyday.
Flavors! the Buffet - Buffet restaurant that features Chinese and Italian dishes, as well as a meat carving station and freshly baked desserts. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Fresh Express Food Court - This casino-floor food court offers an array of choices from Chinese noodles to New York style deli sandwiches and pizza, with patio-style seating under a leafy arbor.
SIPS Coffee and Teas - SIPS, located in the resort lobby, sells a selection of gourmet coffees, teas, and pastries throughout the day.
Rum Bullions Island Bar - Rum Bullions' open-beam, warehouse-style bar features colorful island drinks and dueling pianists nightly.
Race and Sportsbook Bar - Located on the casino floor, this is the spot to have a drink and watch the race, or game on downtown Reno's largest video wall.
Silver Baron Bar and Lounge - The Silver Baron is directly beneath the mining rig under the dome on the casino floor. This wood-and-mirror paneled bar plays up the silver mining-era theme with antique cash registers and iron-mercury torchere retrieved from a private estate in Monaco. Piano entertainment is featured nightly.
Comedy Club Bar - Located just outside the nationally known Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club, this bar is the perfect place to order a drink before the show.
Drinx - Located on the mezzanine level, this contemporary lounge is decorated with monochromatic colors, and dimly-lit chandeliers. Features an array of specialty martinis.
Aura - Lounge located on the main casino floor. Classic and signature cocktails are prepared by performance bartenders. Large selection of premium liquors, wines, and champagnes are offered, and bottle service is available. Happy Hour drink specials are offered 4:30 PM-6:30 PM on weekdays. DJs spin house music Thursday through Sunday from 9 PM-2 AM. Open 11 AM-2 AM daily. Schedules subject to change without notice.

Silver Legacy Resort Casino offers a wide range of entertainment events, including concerts and comedy shows.
Recreation
The Silver Legacy is a 40-minute drive to the closest of Lake Tahoe's 18 area ski resorts. Golfers can tee off at 40 area courses around the Reno/Lake Tahoe area, six of which are within seven miles of the hotel.

“Pleasantly Surprised!!”
VERY clean and extremely comfortable. Located in a convenient area. Would definitely stay again!
“Decent hotel for Reno”
Compared to other Casino hotels in Reno, this hotel is probably one of the best (although, haven't stayed in all of them). Rooms are large and comfortable, rate was reasonable. I would stay here again without hesitation. Only negative is only one restaurant open at 9PM, would have rather have more choises, but I survived.

The Silver Legacy is great place to stay in Reno. It's clean, convenient, quiet, all staff were very hospitable, friendly and kind, and the temperature in the room was just perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more. Loved it!

Everything from the checkin to the pool, room and gym was excellent. Only recommendation is to provide the proper number of bath towels per number of guest assigned to room.

We went in Jan. 2012 and our stay here was great! Staff was so friendly and room was great! Loved looking out our window and see all the lights of other casinos! Room was clean and had coffee sent up to our room each morning with a newspaper. We needed a referator and they had one sent up within mins.

We enjoyed our stay at the Silver Legacy while attending a convention. The room was clean & quiet with basic ammenities provided. There are many restaurant options as well as various shops & services in the hotel.
