“A smoke-free hotel in Reno, NV!”

It was wonderful to find a hotel in Reno that was a non-smoking location. In the past, we have hated walking into our "non-smoking room" which reaked of cigarette smoke. This Hampton Inn & Suites lived up to its promise of offering a smoke-free environment. The hotel is new. Everything was clean and well kept. Even the shower was nice with a shower head that put out water with really good water pressure, which seems to be an issue in many hotels these days. The breakfast included was a nice surprise. It included a station where you could make your own Belgian waffle. The waffle batter made very good waffles! There were eggs, and diced potatoes as well as fruit and cereal items. There were some bagels & other pastries offered as well. Even the dark roast coffee was quite good; I usually expect weak coffee and that a visit to Starbucks will be necessary but not so on this trip. The hotel was a short drive to the convention center where were saw a great concert, which was the reason for our trip. We were also able to drive just about 10 minutes or so to visit Scheel's and laster Cabela's on our way home. If you are visiting Reno to gamble, the casinos are just a short 5-10 minute drive away. The next time we visit Reno, we will definitely stay at this Hampton Inn & Suites again. We had a wonderful stay. I fully recommend this hotel, especially for those looking for a smoke-free environment.

“Great service and very clean”

Was very impressed from the time we arrived to check out. Only concern was fold out bed not being very comfortable however staff made sure to remedy our concern quickly.

We enjoyed our stay at Hampton. Facilities and staff were very accomodating. We would recommend it for a quiet stay in Reno.

“Excellent if you like soft beds”

The hotel was fine in all respects, and very good in that it had actual sliced fruit on the breakfast bar and mini-omlettes that actually had good flavor. The only negative is that the pillow top beds are very soft. That is fine unless you have back problems and need a firm bed. I did not sleep well. My son was fine.

“Hot Breakfast!”

Love the hot breakfast especially while we were traveling with our small kids. Good location, quiet and away from the strip. The only thing that I was disappointed was on the second day, I went down for breakfast half hour before they close, almost everything was gone. But overall, we will definitely go back.

“Loud & Rude Service”

Have spent many night in Hampton Inns, they are our prefered hotel. This was the worst service we ever experienced. It was loud. We received a call saying those below us complained of the noise. We had already turned in and were asleep, the noise was from the floor above. Desk should have investigated. Not the best of Hampton Inns...will not use this one again.

“A quiet place in Reno”

This hotel is very clean and quiet. It is good for families not interested in gambling, night life or going out. It is very clean. It is not close to any restaurants or bars. So be prepared to drive anywhere you go. The rooms are nicely appointed. The pool is nice.
