“Great hotel at the price”

Have been doing quite a lot of travel in europe lately, and this hotel gets great marks. The bed was comfortable, and one of the larger "doubles" we've stayed in. It was one bed, not two pressed together, and it was nearly the size of a queen. And, important in the summer, it had Air Conditioning. We've been to a lot of places recently that advertise AC, and arrive to find no AC. (you're luck if you have a fan at a lot of them.) The only draw-back to this hotel is that it's a quite long walk into Epernay. If you're driving every where and don't plan to drink much, you can't beat this hotel.

“Economical stopover from Boulogne.”

Campanile is a reliable chain which my family always felt offers good, honest no-frills accomodation, for long distance road travellers. The Dizy hotel had a young woman running reception, who was very helpful & made us feel very welcome. Parking was easy, yards from a vineyard. Champagne making town of Epernay, nearby, is emphatically worth a visit for eating & exploraton. Internet connection was free - a big bonus. Air con was a little feeble for the conditions. Breakfast not included and, for us, not worth the extra. Big Leclerc supermarket opposite has good value food, plus fuel, and has a carwash with cheap 'gonflage' to pump up tyres. Nearby countryside is really worth a gentle detour.

“Modern. clean and secure - great value overall”

This hotel is a great place to stop overnight. The hotel was easy to find on the main road from Reims on the edge of town. It's motel-style with rooms on two storeys each with their own front door. This is really handy for getting your luggage out of the car as you can park near your room. The rooms are compact but modern, clean and secure. At this price you couldn't ask for much more. Our rooms had French TV with nine channels, tea/coffee facilities, extra pillows & blankets and good quiet air conditioning. The bathrooms have a compact bath with an overhead shower and a hairdryer. there are two beds in each room with a third fold-down bed you can pull out from underneath. We had stayed in a more expensive hotel the night before that was quite shabby, so I was concerned about the hotel in Dizy before we arrived. However, we were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for an overnight stop on their way through France.

The room was well prepared and looked very clean. Comfy beds and good to have a bath. We had a very good meal. with varied menu and a quiet nights sleep

This was great as an overnight stop or if you are not looking for a luxury hotel. Ideal if you want to visit various champagne producers as it is situated very close to 1 champagne trail/tour road. We bought plenty from Collard Trouchon 28 Grande Rue, Reuil-lovely flavour and great price!! Bar/restaurant very convenient.

“Comfortable hotel Epernay”

This welcome stop-over just north of Epernay on the way back from Switzerland was bit like a Travelodge, but a bit smarter. Very comfy beds, aircon and tea/coffee facilities in the ensuite room. Very quiet location with big branch of 'ELeClerc' with filling station nearby and Champagne producers up the road at Hautvillers. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment and we declined the 9 Euro breakfast tray in favour of a stop-over en-route. Have not used one of the 'Campanile' chain before but would again for a budget stop-over.

“diner”

Nous avons diné le soir avant de prendre la chambre : le buffet était agréable. Nous avons cependant regrettés de ne pas avoir été informés de l'offre de boisson gratuite que nous avons trouvée en arrivant dans notre chambre. Personne n'a pensé à nous en faire profiter et notre remarque le lendemain n'a rencontré qu'une indifférence à peine polie. Dommage.

“Cheap motel in Champagne area”

If driving it is a reasonable option as a place to sleep only while exploring the area. Wifi only in reception.

“Basic but good”

You get what you pay for. This is more of a motel as access to all rooms is outside. Beds are large and comfortable; other furniture is very basic. The bathroom was very clean and although the bath was rather small, the shower was quite powerful. We didn't eat there but the staff were helpful and happy to order taxis for us to get into town. YOu can walk into Epernay, it will take about 20-25 mins on a straight road.
