“A downtown surprise”

I recently stayed at the WINGATE and was quite pleasantly surprised. The room was larger than many others I have stayed in, well appointed and clean. The bathroom was larger than most, very clean with a shower area rather than a bathtub. The towels not frayed. Although I would have liked a restaurant on-site, the extensive breakfast offering included in the price of the room made up for it. Without doubt, we will stay at the Wingate next time.

“Good hotel and good location”

This hotel is a fairly new one just a couple of blocks from the main downtown core of Regina. While it is fairly basic, it is new, clean, quiet and well-maintained. They do not have a restaurant on the premises but there are restaurants within two to three blocks.

“Definitely nothing to complain about!”

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great with a good selection between fruit, bagels, waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee, etc. We'd definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Good Place to Stay”

We had a very nice star at the Wingate by Wyndham. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the location was fairly central, the rooms were great and the complimentary breakfast was good. The only issue we had was that there is no on site restaurant or room service, so for meals you did have to venture out. There are some nice places to eat within walking distance however if you want to stay in to eat or like us just not walk out in the cold of winter it can be a bit of a hassle.

We enjoyed our stay (3 nights). The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good each day. The location was great, very convenient for shopping & easy to access.

“Quite, friendly place”

Stayed here for a few days. At the corner of downtown Regina and across the street from the casino. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast isn't too bad. Everything is walking distance away. There's a timmy's next door.

“New, nice, good price”

The hotel is easy to get to, clean, and has a decent breakfast included in the rate (coffee, juice, cereals, waffles and some hot dishes like eggs). The rooms was clean, well decorated and looked fairly new. The bed was comfy, including the pillows. I travel a lot every year, and I rate the hotels I stay in by cleanliness and how good the pillows are. This one passed. (I still wonder why hotels fold the toilet paper into points...who wants someone's hands all over their toilet paper? But if you like that, this one had faultless points). Parking next door, both covered and outside. The only complaint was that my older parents -- in their 80's -- had to deal with some loud music possibly from the casino across the street, or maybe from a car in the parking garage next door.

Overall very pleased, a very well balanced breakfest and great location at the center of regina.
