“clean and comfortable”
No complaints about this hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. Restaurant had buffet dinner the night we were there which was good. Therefore they did not have menu service so can't comment on that. Restaurant is clean, bright and quiet. Convenient location on south Albert St.
“Use it Regularly”
This is a comfortable, conveniently located hotel/motel in the south end of Regina. I use it frequently because of its access and nearby facilities. Staff are friendly , helpful and the rooms, which have just had their bathrooms and facilities upgraded are clean quiet and large. The restaurant is typical for the city and the region and many locals frequent it at lunch and for dinner. The lounge is quiet and a good place for a relaxing drink or a meal. The lounge is only open until ten which can be a problem for late arrival but there are other options in the area if you arrive late. Located in the south of the city the hotel provides easy access to the highways east, west and south and the area around the hotel has some close, nice restaurants and bars. There is a shopping center a block to the north, a large pharmacy across the street, a liquor store a couple of blocks away and a supermarket two blocks south. There is a coin op guest laundry on the main floor and a very small gym with limited equipment that is not often used. Parking and winter plug ins (a necessity in Regina in the dead of winter) is adequate. Rooms have wireless internet and the beds are comfortable. My only minor irritation is the recent move to single cup cofee brewing in the rooms. Doing two cups is easier in a single pot than two single cups.
“Really Great Place!”
Hotel was very clean and comfortable and just a short cab ride from everything we needed access to. We had been traveling to different locations across Canada for several weeks, and this one had the cleanest bathroom (even nicer than some "fancier" 3.5 and 4 stars). The staff was friendly and helpful on many occasions, bringing everything we needed within minutes of asking. We made the mistake of going elsewhere for buffet brunch on Sunday (across the street), to save a few dollars, but regretted it when we saw the endless tables of goodies available at the hotel's brunch. Should've eaten there!! Only one small elevator to service the whole building, but it's not a huge hotel, so we never experienced a wait. Would 100% come back here again.
“Regina visit”
One suggestion I made to their own review was to include a daily newspaper
“Will stay there again”
Great hotel, service was excellent, restaurant was nice and food was good. would stay there again. .
“Would stay here again”
The hotel had been upgraded since my last stay there - a job well done. The hotel is near lots of shopping, services and restaurants.
“Great for QCM”
Picked this hotel because of the proximity to the start line of the Queen City Marathon. Found a couple of hairs (not mine) on the pillow which kind of grossed me out, but everything else was good. Close to good places to eat (Earl's). Late checkout wasn't a problem.
“Great Hotel”
The staff was really nice and the restaurant was great.
“Good Hotel”
Very nice clean hotel
“First time in Regina”
I'd heard from others that this was one of the better hotels in Regina. The hotel lived up to its claims. The staff and Manager were always pleasant and apart from one incident, which was quickly dealt with to my satisfaction, my stay at the RWHI was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
