“curtious and friendly”
I forgot my toiletry bag in the washroom. When I called the next day hosekeeping had found it and were very helpful . They would take it to the front desk for a friend of mine to pick up the next day. I felt that was very honest.
“Great location”
This hotel was in a great downtown location close to restaurants and businesses. This was also it's drawback with the traffic noise reaching the room. The rooms are a little outdated but I noticed that they were undergoing a remodel and if the lobby is a precursor to what the rest of the hotel will be like it will be a beautiful hotel. The current beds were a little hard for my tastes.
“Nice Hotel”
They were under construction - but so be it. Not many issues with that. Would have been nice to have a pool for the kids - but it is what it is! We went bowling instead. Great restaurant.
“Roughriders Trip”
Hotel was very clean and nice. Reasonable priced. Can recommend it any time and will stay there again.
“Way over priced!”
The hotel is downtown not a neighborhood that I would want to walk through after a night out again. Parking is difficult and frustrating. Front desk was friendly on check in. The room was flithy, the carpets were dusty and stained the bedding old and full of cigarette burns (on a non smoking floor). The smell of cigarette smoke filled my room on several occasions, coming from?? No one knew. Don't look behind the beds there is a years worth of dust and garbage there. Did not look like the pictures posted on the website and WAY over priced for the quality I received.
“Mixed review”
Frequent noise from other guests. Good room, housecleaning and restaurant service, but restaurant was understaffed and service therefore slow, especially in the morning. The one dinner meal that I ate there was excellent. My room was not the cleanest and in poor repair. Very good internet service.
“Good hotel, terrible restaurant”
The hotel was nice and clean with balconies in each room which would be nice in the summer. Don't plan to eat breakfast there though. It was expensive and even on a weekday with many staff and few customers, it took 15 minutes to put in an order and we waited an hour for a very simple order. The next day we ate at the Ramada across the street and they said they had heard the same thing from many guests at the Regina Inn. Otherwise it was nice.
“Decent Downtown Regina Hotel”
Overall it's an ok hotel, but expectations should be nominal. My first stay (2 nights) I asked both days for wake-up calls but didn't get any. Second stay (3 nights) I brought my own alarm. The staff is polite and seems helpful, but the wake-up call service is pretty much typical. My second stay had cigarette smoke coming into my room on a non-smoking floor. The only remedy was to move to another room on the same floor, or put a filter in my room which had a noisy fan to try to get rid of the stink. No commitment was made to deal with the offender. The patio door wouldn't quite close, so I had to open it a bit more to keep it from howling all night. Sometimes the elevator doesn't work, and the restaurant is average at best. On the good side, the location is very convenient for getting to anywhere, there's ample parking, and the rooms have always been clean.
“Fantastic Location”
Staff were extremely helpful.
“good price/ good hotel”
Hotel is easy to find, when driving from the East on the Trans Canada. Nice clean lobby and friend staff. Great lounge with great bar staff. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Overall a great room at a reasonable rate.
