“Wasn't expecting much and it was still below my expectations”

I had never been to Regina and was recommended this hotel. I was definetely not impressed with this hotel as it seemed it was only "one thing after the next". First off, the cleaning lady came knocking at our door around 9:30am the first morning, and when I told her we would be leaving the hotel shortly, she never came back ... That evening, there was a constant ringing sound in our room. We then realized that it was coming from the fire alarm. At 12:30am, here we were at the front desk asking one of the staff if someone could come change the battery or if they could pull it out completely to allow us to spend the night. She asked a young man who was dressed in a security guard outfit if he would help us ... He was sitting in the lobby playing a handheld videogame device. Nobody was in a rush to help and it simply made us laugh that someone who does not work for the hotel is responding to these demands? ... Odd. Sunday morning, of course, the cleaning lady is back bright and early at 9:45am. I won't be staying at another Best Western again. A hotel ran by monkeys to say the least.

toilet kept on breaking they came to fix it $ times and kept on telling me to wiggle with the handle to fix it.... room service come in cafeteria cabaret piled up plates covered with aluminum foil...

Expensive for what you get.
