“No problems or concerns from my perspective....”

This hotel was fine. Only stayed 1 night this trip. Room was clean, the staff were polite and competent. No reason not to stay. Will be back in a couple weeks and I am sure my kids will enjoy the pool and waterslide.

Area recommendations

The downtown area around the casino is quite a bit nicer. Also has some nicer and more upscale restaurants. But the Seven Oaks location better suited my needs on this trip.

“Pricey, but the kids were happy with the waterslide and pool”

I think we paid too much for the age of the hotel. But it was a long weekend. It has been re-done but the bathroom and vanity area is too small and inconvenient for a family with older children. The bathroom is too small to change in unless you step into the tub. There is no fan in the bathroom and it is stuffy and sticky if you dress in there. The tub had chips all over the inside that had been repaired badly with white paint (looks bad). It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We liked the fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. We were right off the pool and it was noisy when it was occupied but they are really good about closing the pool promptly at 10 and locking all the balcony doors so no one can enter after hours. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. They check and adjust the chemicals twice daily (close it down for an hour) The pool was very warm and comfortable. We had trouble the second night with really noisy neighbours. I called down to the desk and they sent up a rather large security guard instead of your standard desk clerk/manager. He warned them and they were quiet after that.

Did not like the pool policy.Had to have wrist bands to go to pool. Thery also have signs posted at the front desk that say in BIG letters that you must have a credit card to stay there.

“Over night stop over. Will check other options next time.”

Clean and convenient. Not too pricey. Many rooms are internal and face the pool/water slide. Potential for noise. Some rooms that face the outside look onto the railroad crossing. Very noisy at times. Check your room location before check-in. Free shuttle to and from the aeroport is very handy

“NOT IMPRESSED”

The staff was friendly enough but the location of the Hotel was extremely poor. It backs right up to a major railway crossing. The trains cross all throughout the night and blow their horn every time they pass. This left me without sleep and obviously feeling very tired the next morning. The rooms are also very small and not what I was expecting. For the cost of the room I expected more for what I paid. I would not suggest staying at this hotel and for a couple of dollars extra I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express. Located on the South end of town and near all of the good restaurants.

“Good service and hospitality by all personnel”

Good location for business meetings in the facility. Catering does a great job of lunches and set up is fast and efficient. Ricki's Restaurant is adjacent for good resonably priced family meals Presently working on renovations for upgrades - good sign for a progressive hotel/inn business. Booking through expedia are at a resonable price for the Regina market
