Our room smelled very bad! The pool was disgusting and there was way too much chlorine in the pool that our eyes were on fire just sitting in a chair! Our room had black mold all around the window frame and there were rusty bolts in our shower that our child got ahold of!

The property is in a beautiful spot, however, it is in desperate need of updates. Floor in my second floor room was not well put together. It had many gaps between the planks of flooring that were hard to walk on. Also, the windows were dirty. Not sure how to see the ocean through dirty windows. Shampoo was horrible.

Having been a electrician for 47 yrs, the issues with the light I ng were obvious. Thankfully we survived till morning, without being electrocuted or burned up. Having metal lig k r fixtures being rebuilt by maintenance personal, and then wired up with ungrounded lamp cordis a major code and safety violation. Then plugging it into a 120v receptacle behind the bed, being smashed by the bed is another fire danger. Not whether it will happen, but when.

The views from our room were fantastic and if that’s all I was going for, I would have given 5 stars. However; the bed just about fell apart when we sat on, it was hard as a rock, our AC unit looked like it could fall out at any moment, there was no screen in the unlocked window that we fully opened. It was a decent deal for $145, but the $100 “deposit”, is a crock. Oh and the button for the jets, pushes clear in the hole, so I had to take apart the tub, just to get them to turn off. Not fun wet & naked!

We appreciated that this was a pet friendly facility, and all of the floors were hard surfaces which was great. However, there was a fair amount of garbage (including food) and dust bunnies under the beds, which was pretty gross with a dog in tow. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, and we didn’t hear the other dogs much at all. Overall a great stay, just wish it had been cleaner.

Woke up to bugs in the room crawling on me as well as the night stand and wall. The flooring wasn't laid properly causing a cut on my foot in the middle of the night.

The food was ok. But the room was nice. I loved being able to walk out on the balcony and look at the Ocean. The staff was super friendly. I would probably stay here again.

Upon arrival, I was informed that a mistake had been made and my reservation had been cancelled. I was very confused because I did not cancel it and Expedia showed it was still booked and confirmed on their end. So I inquired about who may have cancelled it and they claimed their manager did. I also learned that there were no more rooms matching what I had initially booked, available anymore. So they kindly offered me to pay for an upgraded room at double the cost of what I was going to pay. I asked if they could comp a night or consider a discount or something, since I still very much wanted to stay there and they were the ones who cancelled my reservation. They said no, there was nothing that could be done. I had driven 5 hours to have a spring break vacation with my son and dog. We had selected this hotel because of the indoor pool for my son. I cannot believe how unwilling they were to make any reasonable accommodations after they cancelled my reservation.

The food was very good. The location was beautiful. The only problem was taking a shower. The Shampoo/Conditioner/Bath Gel were so watery that it was unusable. I will stay here again, but will buy and bring my own which is a nuisance because I don't have room/time or doing this.

If you choose a room with an ocean view you are very close to the ocean and can open your window or set on your balcony if you have a balcony room and take in all of the smell and ocean breeze. There is a pool and spa area that includes a hot steam sauna , which is hard to find at Hotels these days. Its also open to midnight and that makes it convenient if you get back to your room late after a day of exploring. I love this place and if your staying in Crescent City, its one of the only hotels right on the Ocean.

Great location, clean room, pool/hot tub area didn't feel super clean and also a lot of young kids in there even after 10. My main issue was front desk and conveniences. Feont desk lady took two long calls while i was trying to check in, obviously exhausted from drive, and the small area to buy snacks/wine was closed any time i checked it.

Gorgeous views of the rugged coastline. Loved the private deck, and hearing the waves crash on the shore. We walked to the nearby brewery, which had amazing food and beverage options.

Our room had a great view. Asked about restaurant at check in - Was told open to 7, be there by 6:45. Was there at 6:40 - It was closed. Asked Staff why, was told lack of customers - My wife had surgery the week prior, and did not want to go out which is why we made it to restaurant in time... Got meal to go at Sea Quake down - It was cold by the time I got back to hotel... Disappointed...

The tv’s are poor really should be more up to date with WiFi capabilities for the price, also for the price they really should offer complimentary breakfast of some sort. Last thing the site never tells you when you get to the hotel your going to be charged a $100 deposit

This hotel has an incredible location on a beautiful rocky beach near the lighthouse. The building needs a lot of maintenance. There was a rainwater leak in the dining room and the exterior paint looked like it was done by a third grader. Overspray was all over the glass windshield on our balcony. Staff was pleasant. The restaurant and bar closed early. The pantry was also closed mid evening so we were unable to get after dinner snacks. With some investment, this place would be a great place to visit more.

A lot of construction going on the pool was open one day then closed the next. Fitness center was closed the entire time. We asked for pool towels and the guy said usually we have you bring your own. The beach view is amazing! The walk to the beach is easy to access and so beautiful!! It is super quiet and relaxing. My kids loved the jetted bath. We would definitely stay again.
