Very nice hotelPosted 31-Mar-2014
Pros: Convenient to I-5; Close to many good restaurants; Friendly staff; Nicely furnished; Food service: excellent buffet breakfast, reasonably priced.
Cons: Follow up and make sure the thermostat is fixed in room 241.
Location: Easy Access from I-5; Many fine restaurants nearby
Leaving home in Roseburg, OR at 3:00pm, and driving all the way in a severe rain storm, needless to say, my wife and I were tired and looking forward to relaxing in a comfortable room. Upon checking in, the staff was friendly, and the room given us was exactly as had been requested on the internet. The room was very clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely appointed and had a roomy walk-in shower. The room was extremely warm when we entered and unfortunately, even though I lowered the temperature on the thermostat and put the fan on economy, warm air continued to flow. Being on the ground floor, I opened the sliding door to allow cool air into the room, until it was time to go to sleep. Being tired, we managed to get to sleep in a warm room. The hotel buffet full-breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced. Upon checking out, the staff apologized for our warm room, and said if we had only called, an engineer would have responded to fix the problem. Over all, we were very pleased with our acommodations.

A little weekend away!Posted 25-Mar-2014
Overall a nice place although I would only stay again if I could have a courtyard room. Pool is not heated so Spring is not a great time to go. Food was not good in restaraunt despite recommendation from front desk. Basic tv channels omitted which is ridiculous.

Very ComfortablePosted 2-Jan-2014
After days on the road and lots of cheap hotels this toom was heaven. Comfortable beds and bedding, spacious room, and reasonably priced meals.

Don't reserve a room here!Posted 31-Dec-2013
We arrived at the hotel to find out it is in a very sketchy area and backs up to the busy I-5. Additionally there were some unsavory characters outside the front of the rooms smoking and staring down those that passed by. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but seeing as I am out $150 I felt the need to warn others. Three hours after booking and before check-in was even available I asked to cancel my reservation. The hotel refused. I went up the road and stayed at a Garden Inn for $40 less and had a view of the river. Wish there was more I could do to recoop my money but I guess it was just an expensive lesson.
