“Works for me!”
Pretty basic hotel. I really liked the breakfast, except that the hotel room is separate from the main office and breakfast area so we had to walk (a short distance) every morning, in the rain. The girls at the front desk are super nice; I asked once if they had decaf coffee and every morning following they would say "decaf is ready" when I walked in. I did find the matterss and pillows to be a little to soft for me. Also, make sure that you tell them at check in if you booked your room through an online company- and remind them when you check out. We had some confusion and were charged again for the room directly from the hotel. But, when I called the hotel to get it resolved, she was very apologetic and explained to me where it got messed up, she took my number, called and reversed it, then called me back to let me know it was taken care of. I would call that great service and an honest mistake.
“We would stay here again”
This is your basic motel, with an upper level with stair access only. It has all the extras and its very comfortable. Good value for the money.
“not a very quality Quality Inn”
the room was on the third floor, no elevator. last building and i am the only person staying there. kind of scary. the garbage had not been emptied from the last tenant. very noisy air conditioner and old windows with cobwebs on them.
“Inform guests better”
Everything was fine except the desk clerk forgot to tell me how to operate the shower, which was not obvious. There is a little ring on the bottom of the downspout you pull down on after thge water is going. I had to call the desk to finally be able to shower. There should be brief instructions posted in the shower.
“Forget about it. Go across the street . Cheaper”
Got sent to a 3rd floor room even though I requested first. NO ELEVATOR No internet or wiFi in my room. No remote for tv "they're on order" couldn't program captions from set = NO TV Breakfast room way too small for the size of the motel. No place to sit didn't wait around to try the food.
“Smelled like smoke”
To start with our "non-smoking" room reeked like cigarettes.After speaking with the desk, we were moved and promised a $10 refund, which we never got.The second room just smelled musty. If ever in Redding again, will definitely choose another hotel.
