Great stay!

Posted 23-Apr-2015
Pros: We liked cleanliness of this hotel.
Cons: Breakfast should be improved.
We had a great 3 nights stay in Comfort Inn. Room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is clean and large enough. Breakfast is very, very limited. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel choice

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: Room size, helpful staff, proximity to the highway.
Cons: Breakfast. I would have appreciated some fresh fruit at breakfast. Also, the lids for the coffee cups did not fit well.
Location: Turtle Bay, and several restaurants are nearby.
I was in town overnight following an event. I found the staff helpful, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the hotel is an easy walk to several restaurants.

Pros: We liked the hotel's location, breakfast and parking amenities.
Cons: None
Location: There are stores, restaurants, bars, bowling and other places nearby.
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. The room offered more than expected, in that it was spacious, had a couch, and a refrigerator.

Very clean and comfortable

Stayed two nights and was very happy with the room. It was very quiet, clean, well appointed and convenient. I don't usually expect a hotel where rooms are under $99 to be this nice. Comfy small couch, desk with comfy work chair, nice TV that is wall-mounted and can be viewed from anywhere-- even the bathtub!-- and very nice firm king-size bed. And a ton of pillows in both softer and firmer styles! Granite countertop in the bathroom. In the closet was an iron and board, extra pillow, extra blanket, luggage rack. My only complaint-- and it's a mild one -- is that the wifi was sporadic at best. When I called the desk, they had their resident techie come up to try to help me. Couldn't get it to work with three different browsers, and he said it's a fairly frequent problem and he wished the owner would upgrade the system. My workaround was to use my iPhone's personal hotspot which worked fine, once I moved from the desk to the bed. So I suspect there's some kind of interference at work. They should upgrade the router and/or install repeaters. I was getting a stronger signal from the hotel next door. But it's not a deal-breaker for me, and they offered the use of the lobby computer if I needed it, so that helped mitigate my frustration. Luckily my employer -- for whom I had to be online all day -- also supplies an unlimited data plan for my iPhone as I was definitely burning up the gigabytes. Lastly, the breakfast: sausage, eggs, waffles, bagels, juice, muffins, Danish... yum!

Would not recommend.

The room had a balcony, but the sliding door handle was missing making it hard to open or shut the door. I would expect a door handle on every door in a room! The hotel was not full (by any means) but guests were clustered all together. We could hear the people above walking in their room, they were not jumping or running, simply walking normally. We could hear other rooms' showers, toilets, and even heard someone's alarm in the am. It is a smoke free hotel, but apparently the desgnated smoking area was directly under our balcony. Hotel workers smoked and talked on the telephone there and the smoke drifted to our balcony and we could hear them in our room with all doors shut. I would not recommend this Redding, Ca hotel.
