Just passing through

Posted 29-Dec-2014
Pros: Breakfast was included with sausage, egg, and make-your-own waffles which I love! Also cereal, yogurt, plenty variety.
Cons: Clean carpets in hallway and stains in rooms.
Location: Close to main road and lots of restaurants, etc. yet far enough off highway to be quiet.
Stayed for a quick stop over through CA both going up and a week later coming back. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are nicely sized. Needed pet friendly room which are all on the first floor but they placed us in the second room, front side (108) which meant our dog could hear people unloading at the front entrance which caused her to be restless and bark. Also, the front side has patios and the guest next door stepped out to smoke and yack on the phone which we could hear. It was raining and the hallway carpet was rather dirty, but I suppose it would be expected. On the way back, I asked for a room as far away from the entrance for the above reasons and they accommodated us by putting us at the end of the hallway on the back side which was very quiet and worked wonderfully. A few stains on the carpet in the rooms, but it's a dog room. I thank the staff for paying attention to my request when booked on Expedia.

Home for the holidays

Posted 29-Dec-2014
Pros: Conveniently located in town, facilities clean, not a lot of excessive noise, from either humans or traffic nearby.
Cons: The only problem encountered was a noisy refrigerator, which was taken care of immediately.
Location: Family lives nearby, so we visit a lot. We also have property of our own nearby, and have to check and maintain it as well.
Went to visit family, but wanted a quiet restful place to stay at night. This hotel did not disappoint. The staff was attentive when I mentioned a noisy refrigerator, the room was spacious and very clean. My stay was pleasant and I will probably stay there again in the future.

Had a nice experience

Posted 1-Dec-2014
Pros: Clean specious rooms Room service Refrigerator and microwave in the room Friendly stuff
Cons: Breakfast area is very small and crammed
Rooms are specious and clean. Microwave and refrigerator was of big help to warm up leftover food. Breakfast was nothing special but better than many other hotels I stayed in the past. There were hot patties and waffle maker other than usual muffins, breads, cereals etc. We stayed 2 nights; there was room service each day and new toiletries.

Good, but not so good

Posted 23-Nov-2014
Pros: The size of the room.
Cons: Cleaning, check out/ front desk personnel. More then one ice machine...should be one on each floor, not just the main lobby.
Location: It was close to the hospital, which was shere were going in the morning.. So it suited us fine.
When we entered our room, it looked clean until you looked closer...not dusted well, sheets had stains of some sort on them. The check in clerk was very nice, but the check out clerk doesn't know how to smile or say "have a good day" . For the money we spent...would we stay there again? probably not.

Convent & clean

Negative; check in clerk, cold and impersonal. In the morning 0900 or earlier housekeeping knocking on doors to see which rooms are occupied and which are empty, needless to say we were asleep as we came in early that morning. Do they not generate a list of occupied rooms and their check out date? As we checked out there were housekeepers and desk staff outside the door smoking discussing how CHEAP the owners are and belittling the people who employ them, that was a big negative! Hotel was beautiful and comfortable, staff needs additional training and guidence.
