“The Sandman in Red Deer is always a favorite.”

Easy to get to, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, there is a very nice fitness room and pool and several good restaurants in vicinity.

“Will stay again with the girls”

The Executive Suites are perfect for a weekend getaway with girlfriends. Microwave, mini fridge, dishes. Relax and snack in your own living space while enjoying a glass of wine. Room service is the Moxie's restaurant on site or breakfast can be at the Denny's across the parking lot. Quiet and clean, despite being on major street. Free parking

“Great Customer Service”

We stayed here for three nights in April for a dance competition at Red Deer College. My mother and I each booked our own rooms, as I had my two teen daughters staying with me. We were both pleasantly surprised when our rooms were upgraded to a suite rooms, with fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishes which made the stay more convenient. (I had originally just booked a room with two doubles). Customer service at front desk was very friendly and accomodating, as well was housekeeping. We didn't use the pool because it was small and busy, and the hot tub was out of service at the time. The fitness room was basic, but good enough to do some walking on the treatmill after sitting all day. The location is convenient as many restaurants nearby and there is a small mall across the street. The Red Deer College was a short drive from the hotel, but seemed to take forever to get to as the city seems to have no planned traffic lights and annoying access roads. The stay at the Sandman was satisfying for the price. The only complaint I have is I requested a non-smoking room, which didn't smell like smoke, but everytime we opened our door we were choking on the smoking fumes in the hallway from other smoking rooms. I would think a non-smoking room would be all non-smoking on the same floor.

Very considerate. Upgraded our room type whentypey ran out of the regular we booked.gave me the same rate when we decided to extend our stay for another day.good customer service.

“Room good-pool not working.”

I was happy with the quality of the room but disappointed to find out when I arrived with my children that the pool wasn't working. It took about 15 minutes of negotiating to get a coupon for the attached restaurant as some type of compensation.

need queen size beds in the double bed rooms instead of doubles, other than that the room was good.

“Not impressed”

This facility is run down, not very clean and the service certainly didn't make up for it. I would find another place to stay.
