Very big room with all necessities provided for long stay and right in front of beach with many local food vendors. Hotel is very clean with amenities well maintained - nice pool, billard room, bowling, gym with steam rooms. Family orientated.

The property when new in 1999 was probably very nice. The views from the room were panoramic. We were placed in an older room where it showed visible wear in every room. The air conditioner built up ice and leaked water on the floor. We were actually asked why our room was in the older un renovated section of the hotel. The buffet and food were adequate but not great.

Normally, I am not a picky customer but I could not bear 🐻 their staff. Many times I feel that some receptionists are impolite & unprofessional. Comparing to other Kantary I have been to , this one is the least decent. Hope to see the improvement. On the other hand, waitress & security guard were really helpful & friendly.

I am a fan!
Never heard of the Kantary chain before but now I’m a fan. This hotel offers several well thought out amenities that I’ve never seen in Thailand before. It almost felt like we were on a cruise, which I love! If you stay here make sure to tour the property in its entirety the first day so you don’t miss any of the wonderful perks. The all you can eat breakfast was delicious. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to offer gluten free bread alternatives. But honestly that’s almost unheard of in Thailand so it won’t stop me from coming back. The beach across the street isn’t as picturesque as some of the others a few hours south, but we enjoyed eating fresh seafood and watching the waves. Plus we had great swimming in the two pools and jacuzzi on the property. So no need to drive to the swimming beaches about 20 minutes away we were told. We went in low season so there were several areas where we could relax without many people around. There was also a tennis court we never got around to using. Free welcome drinks and snacks were an added plus.

Could have chose a better location
Ok, a bit biased here. I love the Kantary brand, everything you would expect from a 5 star Hotel. Big beautiful rooms, Soaking tub, excellent buffet. Our only distraction was the outside area. The Hotel is located next to nothing, the beaches were dirty and covered with trash. The Bell hop recommended the beaches 20 km away. There is literally nothing to do around the hotel. Bring your own car, otherwise you're going to be disappointed. All the attractions that Rayong is known for is miles away.

Worth a visit
We found this hotel by chance on the web and had a really Google time. The hotel is right on the beach with an abundance of local food sellers or restaurants within short walking distance. The hotel runs a shuttle bus into town and back and it also links with the two other sister hotels in town. The rooms are very spacious and they offer a wide choice of food for breakfast. The pool and facilities are excellent and the staff could not be more helpful, definitely worth a visit if you want some chill out time.

We stayed one night. The place is quiet many stayed there seems to be for longer. Hotel's restaurant was good but nothing in the area that is walkable that resembles a good eating place. There are street vendor along the beach. From the room we had a good view of the water. The AC in the room is on the weak side but clean. If I have a car, I would stay there again.

Nice quiet area, big rooms and good facilities fine for a few relaxing days doing nothing, but if you are looking nightlife and round the clock action, then it might be better to go somewhere else. Best service I have ever had.

Great value hotel
We enjoyed this hotel. We were in the area for a football tournament so we did not need the beach and ended up not even using the pool. The view of the water is nice, but it looks like you can't go swimming there. The one-bedroom with kitchen was very nice: attractive, comfortable, well-maintained. It even had a washing machine. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast has many Asian and Western options. Met our needs and expectation for the price.

Great location right on beach, excellent staff, Ideal for those wanting a quiet get away from it all holiday. Hotel was built 1998 - but looks older - air con not great and shower over bath was a disappointment but overall excellent value for money.

the Hotel is clean and comfortable for the money it charges however i did not appreciate having to wait an hour for the Gym staff to finish on the snooker table before i could play. Also the room rate included fitness centre facilities according to the booking and the folder in the room - not so , the Gym boy told me becuase i was only booked there for 2 days i would have to pay to use the sauna. This is either deception or misleading information maybe the Hotel Manager would like to decide which is the case ?

Just what I was looking for.
I stayed 11 nights and extended my stay once. Good location to local office in Rayong. Food was good. Nice fitness center and pool and daily papers in the lobby. Room was large and very comfortable.
