The carpet was dirty, it smelled like cigarettes in our non-smoking rooms. People who lives there bothered guests (trying to sell us electronics). The pool was closed. The day manger was nice and helpful treated us very well. I recommend not staying there again the future.

OK hotel. Covered the basic needs. Clean and quiet. The parking lot indicates a unique clientele. At least they smoke their pot in the parking lot and not in the rooms. But overall, no problems.

When we arrived, there were lots of people sitting in the parking lot, on the curbs, drinking… very loud, felt very unsafe, and there was absolutely no sign telling us which entrance was the office so we didn’t even stay. We turned around and drove away FAST

I apologize that you made the errored assumption that other paying guests were not the right type of people for you to feel safe around. The office was the main front door with the wall sconces lighting the way.

When we walked into the hotel we greeted and asked the guy at the front desk how he was doing and he replies with, “Don’t ask that.” When we got into our room it smelled like marijuana. The floor was dirty as if they haven’t vacuumed in a while, blood on the bedding, dirty countertops, bathroom ceiling was torn up, and mold in the tile grout along with the shower curtain. You can also hear everyone above you walking around. The overall environment of this place did not feel safe or comfortable. I wouldn't recommend to stay here.

Not recommended!
The parking lot is tight! The check in was friendly. Room needed maintenance. We stayed for 3 days and every night/evening there were men on the inside stairs on their phones for hours making it difficult to come and go. There are ‘visiting hours’ and the employees (aside from check in) were rude. I did not feel very safe at this hotel and would not stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
This was the absolute worst hotel Ive ever stayed. Upon arrival into our room it smelt of horrid pee. The shower rod was barely dangling. The couch was wet from God only knows what. When brought to the attention of the front desk the manager refused to give us a different room. They attempted to clean it but actually put a cinnamon air scent blower in it. So we smelt cinnamon pee instead. The beds were covered in yellow stains. The roof was covered in mold. It was disgusting. When asking for a refund or partial we were denied. There were men frequently lining the halls talking on phone all hours of the night right outside our room door. Drinking beer and smoking all over the premises, blasting music. When i asked about it the desk people just laughed at me. I would NOT recommend this place EVER!

This hotel was disgusting. There was mold everywhere. The accesible room was not very disable friendly. The toliet is low to the ground. I got stuck on the toliet needing recovery. I slipped in the shower so i wasnt able to shower the rest of my stay. There was no breakfast or to go. There were people up all hours standing in the hall on their phones and drinking beer and smoking all over the premises. There was a dog barking from morning to night.

I was very much under the impression that we had handled the issues you mention to your satisfaction and that is why you continued to stay for the duration of your reservation. At any time you could have said that you were not satisfied with the way we handled the issues and we could have visited other alternatives but you did not. Worst hotel I've stayed at. Booked for 2 nights. Room was SO DIRTY. I decided to toughen it up and stay there since I was only there for a short trip. After arriving home they charged my card for 70 dollars for a "missing towel". I would never dream of taking their gross dirty good for nothing towels nor damaging anything in the room. I'm a very clean person and even considerate. I wiped down the furniture and nicely collected all my trash before leaving. The walls are so thin I was awakened various times during my stay. The “manager” Miguel said that even if I show proof I did not take anything, I will not be getting a refund. Do not go here.

Thank you for your response, as we have spoken about this issue, I will again apologize that I cannot do more. When you arrived, the room was fully stocked with the correct number of towels and at the end of your stay we were missing two sets of towels not one towel. Our practices dictate that I charge the responsible party who is paying for the room. We regret that we will not have more business with you.

Bug bitten
the customer service was rude , because there is no elevator, I had to lug all my luggage upstairs to my very dirty room. It smelled and the carpet was very dirty. The beds appeared to not have clean sheets. I picked the one that didn't have hair in it. The bathroom has black mold. The bed was ok for comfort, but I woke up with bites all over my arms, legs, and face from bed bugs!!! I will not ever stay or recommend this motel to anyone.

i love the location and the fact I am familiar with the area its located. i have stayed here several times over a 30 year span when it was the Travelodge long before it was Rodeway Inn. The one thing i found disappointing was the male manager seemed to be a bit berating of the other staff member who seem to be a new hire. Good help is hard to find so its up to management to train them properly not humiliate them.

Individual (Kyle) was extremely rude and unprofessional. I don’t expect much with a cheap overnight room but staff can be polite anywhere. The only positive from this experience was his willingness to cancel our room with a refund.

Great place to crash before heading to area parks.
Everything was great. This is an inexpensive place to stay without being cheap. My particular room had the window left open during 0° temperatures and it took hours for the room to get warm. The shower is awesome and besides the cold my overall stay was pleasant.

I would not recommend this hotel.
We checked in around 9 pm so we didn't want to find another motel or w would have left. The first room assigned to us reaked of urine but the beds. I requested a different room. The second one reaked of cigarette smoke so we left the bathroom fan on all night. I woke with a migraine from it so the following day was ruined for us. The gal on duty was kind and accommodating.

When we arrived the manager walked out in a Star Wars t shirt with basketball shorts which should have been the first red flag. Got into the room to find dirty walls, stained carpet, and a large hole around the cable outlet. The bathroom was tiny with about 3 by 3 feet of standing room. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was the white stain on the bed skirt. There were also sketchy looking people lurking around the dimly lit parking area. The only good thing was the manager didn’t impose any fees when I told him I wished to cancel.
