“Busy weekend stay”
The staff and hotel were very accomadating.Food was hot and tasty.
“Great hotel”
Excited to find that it was Rapid City's convention center hotel and offered complimentary parking. Convenient base for exploring all of Rapid City's and surrounding areas attractions. Pool was nice, but could have been cleaner. Very satisfactory for our needs.

“Holiday at the Holiday”
We used the Holiday Inn for a two day stop over to see Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills. The hotel was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Remembering that you are in RC and the choices are mostly mom ad pop hotels...we were pleasantly surprised and would stay again.

“Happy in the Black Hills”
This was a great hotel. It was kid and adult friendly. My granddaughter really enjoyed the pool. The restaurant had a nice variety on the menu.
“Thoroughly Satisfied”
I can't think of a better place to stay if you are headed for a Rapid City/Rushmore/Badlands vacation. The hotel location is central to all the attractions and the staff is very courteous and friendly. If you need a little bit more than a Super Eight but don't need the Ritz this is the place. Great buffet, lounge area, recreation, and location made my holiday getaway go off without a hitch. The rooms were clean, the service was prompt, and the local festival outside of the adjacent civic center proved to be the icing on the cake. Rumor has it that Elvis himself was the first act there when it opened. Had I booked somewhere else I would have had much more idle time. If you need more than just a bed during your South Dakota swing book now!
“Great stay!”
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very pet friendly. The front desk even gave our dog Lexi a treat.
“First Rate Holiday Inn!”
After a very disappointing stay at the Lexington, Nebraska Holiday Inn Express, we were concerned that our several day stay in Rapid City would be spoiled by another cigarette-stinking, non-smoking room. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the entire hotel was non-smoking, immaculate and the rooms very comfortable. The hotel is well designed and beautiful. The location is centrally convenient and within walking distance of downtown. We highly recommend it and will stay there again next year.
“A great hotel”
We are 4 well travelled seniors who were very impressed with this beautiful hotel, especially the water fountains cascading down between the glass elevators. The rooms are nice and clean and the restaurant was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to visit again.
