"This is a unique and interesting hotel. It has historic and kind of kitschy details, but the rooms and amenities are very nice for an older hotel. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear adjacent noise in rooms. Parking is not very convenient, unless you pay for valet. Staff was very friendly. The hotel and nearby dining options are very good. "

"This was a great deal and we liked the place so much we decided to spend an extra night! Breakfast was great, the room is spacious and comfortable and it’s nice having a kitchenette. It’s only 45 minutes from Mount Rushmore and is very quiet - just what we were looking for on our cross country road trip! "
