Double Tree is always nice but this was even nicer, rooms bigger, cookie they give upon checking in somehow tastier and the grounds/view were gorgeous! We found a last minute deal for only $80. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool and the hill with the golf course, so nice! Comby beds, very nice pillows, two separate sinks, very spacious overall, especially considering the price! Will definitely return! The only thing I didn't like is that we had to pay extra for the internet, but it's not the end of the world :)
This hotel is amazing....beautiful property and gardens, clean and spacious rooms, amazing spa, and first-class service. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, offering extras since it was our first stay. The spa was the best I've been to and very peaceful and relaxing. Looking forward to planning another visit soon!!
Our family(16 yr and 12 yr old daughter, 8 month old son, my wife and my self) decided to take a last second weekend trip on Easter weekend down to San Diego area. We found Comfort Suites had the lowest price by far. We expected there to be problems since it was the lowest price. We were shocked to find that the hotel is just like it describes itself and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were simple and nice. The workout room was also nice. It's located in a great location just off the freeway with stores, movie theaters, and restaurants all close to the hotel. The best hotel we have stayed in the San Diego area in the last 10 years.
As a family of five we always stay at suites when we're out and there's no better place than staybridge. The rooms are big and they never nickel and dime you like many other offerings. We will continue to use staybridge for future vacations.
This hotel is certainly not the fanciest, but it was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and it was located in an area that seemed very accessible to restaurants and other facilities. For the prices, it was definitely worth it and would stay there again.
The only thing I would like to see them offer is a shuttle service to and from the airport. Other than that, it is a great place to stay!
Situated in the northern hills of San Diego, Rancho Bernardo is about 17 miles inland from ocean beaches. Dozens of golf courses dot the area. Bernardo Winery, founded in 1889, is the oldest continuously operating winery in Southern California. Scripps Ranch, south of Rancho Bernardo, was developed as a health spa in the 1890s. Today, it's a thriving suburb with abundant outdoor recreation.
