“Loved my stay. Great place to stay!”

I really enjoyed my stay and yes, those chocolate cookies!. The building was beautiful and well maintained inside and out. Staff were very nice. The hotel is right across from the University of North carolina and within walking distance of the Franklin Street shops. I enjoyed the food overall. It snowed during my stay and I ended up having to leave very early in the morning. The front staff actually came out and helped to scrap the snow and ice of my rental care while I sat in the car as it warmed up. I really appreciated them doing me this service without my even having to ask them. I enjoyed my stay but I wish I could have gotten some of those chocolate cookies to go. Oh well, there is always next time. And yes, I would highly recommend a stay at The [ historic ] Carolina Inn.

“Charming Southern Inn”

I loved it! It is a darling inn with fluffy comforters on the bed and chocolates on your pillow. I was there for a quick business trip, but next time I will make sure I have some leisure time. The staff was friendly,the location was great.

The staff was awesome. Everyone was so pleasant to deal with. My daughter was doing orientation at UNC and forgot a towel for her dorm stay. The hotel loaned her a towel at no charge. Even the maintenance guy went out of his way to open the door for me. I would definitely recommend it. It is beautiful and has a lot of displays about the history of the hotel.

Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was less than a min walk from UNC's campus. Definitely recommended for anyone having business with the university.

This is the place to stay if you are visiting UNC. Beautiful and reasonably priced. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The Carolina Inn has history, a perfect location in Chapel Hill, and more than adequate comfort. I can't imagine a better place to stay in the UNC area, and for alumni it is a special treat.
