charming little hotel in the center of town
Charming hotel with a uniquie courtyard design on an alley just steps away from the main drive of Modica and the main intersection of town. Hotel is quiet, clean, and with polite staff. The included breakfast is expansive and fresh. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Modica. Everything is is in easy walking distance. but still I had a very difficult time finding the hotel—Google Maps places this address not in Modica but down on the Mediterranean coast in the town of Pozzallo some ten miles away. Don’t be alarmed: sometimes Google Maps is wrong. What?! Have no fear. Here is what you need to do: Go to 141 Corso Umberto I in Modica. Climb the steps just to the left of this address. At the top turn left and you will find the hotel on your right. Enjoy.

Een prettig hotel, centraal gelegen, erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het hotel is een goede uitvalsbasis voor dagtochtjes naar Ragusa en Noto. Klein minpuntje: we hadden een kamer aan de voorkant op de begane grond, direct aan de straat. Daardoor was er wel veel lawaai van buiten te horen; het was noodzakelijk om de ramen gesloten te houden en de airconditioning aan te hebben. Hou rekening met parkeerproblemen. Een paar keer hebben we erg moeten zoeken om de auto kwijt te kunnen. En een beetje kennis over hoe het parkeren op Sicilië werkt is ook niet weg: je moet parkeerkaarten kopen in winkels. Er zijn niet altijd parkeermeters.

Ein charmantes Hotel inmitten der Altstadt
Dieses Hotel hat Charme. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Personal hilft bei der etwas schwierigen Parkplatzsuche. Jetzt im Winter ist unser Zimmer trotz Heizung nicht richtig warm geworden. Für vollen WiFi Empfang geht man am besten in den Innenhof. Wir haben uns hier wohlgefühlt.

Albergo da favola in un paese di fiabe
L'albergo e anche meglio di come si vede dalle foto.....il personale molto bravo, soprattutto il sig che lavorava di notte che ci ha inebriato di storia siciliana, con una moltitudine di storie su mohac/modica e tanta sicilia...

Weekend a Modica
Hotel con camere deliziose e pulite. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Colazione ottima , abbondante e varia, sia dolce che salata. Posizione ottima dell'hotel, in centro e a un minuto dal duomo di San Pietro e dalla via principale di Modica, il corso Umberto.

Siisti ja erittäin viihtyisä sekä tunnelmallinen pieni hotelli rauhallisella kujalla, lähellä pääkatua ja nähtävyyksiä. Todella asiallinen ja avulias henkilökunta kruunasi yöpymisen.

Splendido palazzo del 1400 nel centro di modica. Ristrutturato con molto gusto. La gentilezza e l’ospitalità del proprietario, ci ha molto colpito. Le stanze sono arredate con molta particolarità, pulite e complete di accessori, la colazione sia dolce che salata, con prodotti freschi e genuini, è ottima. Se arrivate in macchina ricordatevi di fermarvi in Corso Umberto I, davanti all'ufficio informazioni turistico, all'hotel si accede da una scala di fianco. Raccomandatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Gute Lage, ruhig. Zimmer klein aber sauber.
Modica eignet sich gut als Zwischenhalt. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen.

A RECOMMANDER
Cet hotel mérite amplement ces étoiles. Chambre vaste avec du beau mobilier,bien décorée. Les gérants sont souriants,aimables.

Ottima base per la visita del ragusano.
Hotel di charme ricavato da un palazzotto nobiliare sito su una strada pedonale. Non esiste il parcheggio.
