“A good place to stay.”
I have been home for 22yrs and this hotel let me experience Quezon City that I know way back. Sevice is great and so as the staff members. I highly recommend this hotel if you are into a night life where the hotel is in front whree City Walk is, bars, resto, and mall is right next to you. all are easy access...
“My stay at richmonde”
Amazing hotel! amazing staff very genuine,kind and 100% effort from all of them. However wasn't all rainbows and sunshines..my stay was booked for 8 nights and 9 days, everything was amazing including our view until on the 6th night at around 2am the pipes in the toilet gave in and it was gushing hot water out to the point where our toilet floor was actually flooding! room service rushed upon call and took about 5 mins to fix it, once they left the aircon started leaking to the point where it wet everything underneath it including my suitcase that was open containing my passport! called room service and requested to move to another room as it was late in the morning, they didn't have any of the same deluxe rooms available so they moved us to a higher class one bedroom suite with 1 king bed and 1 single bed..we needed to split the beds as there were 4 ppl (2each) in the deluxe room we had 2 queens. they said they can arrange to bring in another bed and they did, these beds were hard as rock and gave us sever back troubles due to this fact, after arousing this with management they advised us that they didn't have any other beds, so our stay for the remaing nights was not very pleasant but the pleasantess and attitudes of the staff made us turn a blind eye. upon check out the receptionist had stopped us because they could not find a towel from the apartment pretty much accusing us of taking it. (when they just didn't look right) no compensation was offered for the inconvenience.

Hotel is within upscale mall, theathers and plenty of good restaurants.
“Brand New Hotel, Luxurious”
We enjoyed our stay in a Superior room and were pleased by the proximity of shops and restaurants in the Eastwood area. The room was almost brand new and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was pretty luxurious. Free internet access would have been nice though. Unfortunately it took us 2 hours in a taxi to get there from the airport due to much traffic congestion.
“Great Hotel, too bad about the AC”
The hotel was actually quite nice... biggest issue being that they rely on those in line DX air conditioners, so obviously the room smells like mildew, everything is constantly wet, signs of water damage / mold and you've got this noisy air conditioner blowing all over you all night. Otherwise the hotel was as good as any Fairmont. Balcony was also locked by regulations (and filthy.) And it seems a lot of new staff around who don't understand their wine list at all (we don't have that, but we do have this... no wait, you can't order this unless you're in a restaurant, but we have this... no, actually we don't... 40 min later... "we're leaving."
“Worst Experience ever in a Hotel.”
I reserved a car from the hotel to pick me up at the airport. The car never arrived. When i asked the Avis guy to call the hotel,I was told it would take 45 to 60 mins to arrive. When i arrived at the hotel, by taxi, no apology was given for the car screw up. They checked me into a room which was not clean. The previous guests dirty towels on the floor, unmade bed etc.I was made wait for 30 mins before getting a clean room. I had to call down for towels, toilet paper etc. The most annoying thing must be the elevator key. Mine did not work on multiple occasions, when i went to the reception they told me, "oh, it won't work because you have checked out". I explained, that not only have i not checked out, but i am checked in for another two days. On several occasions, after being out all day, i returned to find my room not made up.I had left the "please clean room" sign on the door handle. I waited 45 mins in the lobby while they cleaned my room. Laundry service is a joke. I was told if i had it picked up before 10am it would have it back by 4.30pm, when i returned to my room, which had not been cleaned. There was no sign of my laundry. I called reception, laundry arrived, still damp, my fiance's bra was broken a hole suddenly appeared in a shirt. I was given the usual blank stare when i notified staff. I have been all over Asia, USA & Europe and i have never experienced such bad treatment in a hotel. I will be back in Manila in April and June. But not at the Richmonde.
