Clean and quiet. Very friendly front desk. Extremely comfortable beds. Blackout shades. Slept better than I have in quite a long time.
The only confusion was parking on arrival. One of us went inside the hotel to ask and we were directed to the Skyview garage - it's a shopping center 1 block away. We arrived quite late and just didn't know where to go but the garage is open 24 hours.
Walked to the US Open each day - easy walk, maybe 25 minutes. Same distance to CitiField.
There's a Starbucks inside the Skyview Target.

Nice hotel with very comfy beds and great views of Manhattan. Heated tile floors were much appreciated! All the staff members were so friendly- from the front desk to the bartenders to the security guards. The neighborhoods is a bit more industrial, but I always felt safe. The shuttle that takes you into Manhattan is great; although they may want to look into getting a bigger shuttle. There were a few times where people had to wait for he next bus due to it filling up, and busses only came once an hour. There is a subway station near the hotel though if you find yourself in a jam. We used it a few times when our schedule didn't allow us to wait for the shuttle. Not too far of a walk from the hotel.

"Great Hotel, Great Location, Right next to subway"
We had an awesome holiday at The Paper Factory Hotel this month. The hotel is still really new and everything was so clean. The hotel smelled amazing (Dont know what it was but smelled like the pumped in smell you get in Vegas hotels. Right next to the subway and only 3 stops to the city and only an hour from JFK airport. Could not fault this hotel at all. Would 100% recomment.

My daughter is relocating to Queens, Ny to attend college. We have not been to NY and had no clue on where to stay. After months of researching locations and hotels, reading customers reviews on numerous sites, I booked this hotel. It was a close to LGA, a short cab ride of 15 minutes. Located next to the train, perfect view of the Brooklyn Bridge and within walking distance of several diverse dining and grocery options. We were greeted by delicious chocolate cookies in the hotel lobby and a very pleasant employee at the front desk. Check in was seamless. Our room was small, but we expected that. The bathroom was larger then expected. In fact it was the normal size of Las Vegas/California hotel bathrooms. The air worked great, bed and pillows were very comfortable. This view from the balcony was amazing.
