“Great in and out of city”

With free parking, a friendly staff, and a 6 minute drive to the old city (stay under city hall, it's cheapest), I would highly recommend this hotel. Driving in and out of the city may have been a little tricky without a GPS, but we loved staying just outside the city proper. Our toilet was broken when we checked in but the maid got it sorted very quickly.

“Great hotel for the price”

Our stay was good. We were only 2 miles from Old Quebec which made traveling very easy. The hotel offers free parking which was very nice. The room was recently renovated and was a comfortable stay. The continental breakfast was a nice addition - the muffins were really good, too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel had a nice arrangement in terms of the space as the room had a dividing slider door, which made it nice if you were traveling with a friend. However, the overall place was run down and needs a total rehab of furniture and carpets. It was very clean, so no complaints there. Also the continental breakfast arrangement was convenient. The area around the hotel was also kind of run down and there was nothing near the hotel that I would go to in terms of a restaurant or a cafe. I would stay in town next time.

Area recommendations

Old town has a number of hotels and I would stay in one of those or I would stay over off the Grand Allee over by Rue Cartier as there are lots of restaurants and coffee shops. I would not stay outside of Quebec City proper as the highways are a maze and it is easy to get lost.

“Good Hotel for the Price”

We chose this hotel for its location being close to Old Quebec City without the high prices. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a City tour for us and the tour company came to the hotel to pick us up. The rooms were average, but were very clean. The hotel is currently under renovation and they are adding on an addition, but it did not impact our stay.

“At most, a one star motel!”

The motel was under some kind of construction/renovation. The surrounding neighborhood looks unsafe. The lobby is smoky.. Fifthy room.

The hotel is far from downtown and the breakfast is very poor. All the rest was ok.
