“Very good hotel”
The hotel was good. Price was great and it includes breakfast. For 14$ a day you can park your car. The hotel is well located. Everything seems within a walking distance.I recommend this hotel.
“Very Comfortable”
I stayed for only one night but I was pleased overall. My train arrived in Quebec City at 6am and I was able to leave my baggage at the hotel as I waited for the 3pm Check-in time. Unfortunatly the night auditor spoke poor english and I spoke no French but he did take my bags and that gave me the freedom to walk around and get breakfast. Returning to the hotel at 12pm I was able to check-in early which was amazing for I needed to get some sleep. I was a little scared to see that my room was beside the main enterence but it was double doored and i was able to fall asleep; the room was quiet and had a nice view of the street. The room also had nice high ceilings and a faux fire-place. unfortunately the lighting fixture over the sink was not working and if i had more time I would had addressed this with the main desk. Checking out was easy and because my departing train was sheduled to leave at 8pm once again the hotel was glad to hold onto my luggage which allowed me the freedom to wander the streets of old town once again. I am pleased with the services i received.
“Not impressed”
Good location. Room without windows. Basic breakfest. No parking place, for 6 $ CAD u can find a place. Overall it's ok.
“Great, with room for improvement”
The hotel was wonderfully located! It was just the right distance from the old city (we prefered not to stay in the old city, but right outside of it) and on a restaurant and pub street. This did not have a detrimental effect (such as noise) yet it did keep us very close to everything we needed! The only reason this hotel did not get the full score is the carpets. The room was amazing, but the carpet looked like a flee farm, and very dirty. Maybe it's just cause it was old, but in that case they will be better off without a carpet at all, cause the wodden floor was good enough, and the room itself was beautiful (including an electric fireplace...) Oh, another thing - you put DVD players in the room, and you have 7 DVDs in the reception for the guests to enjoy - so why charge them 3$ per movie? Since it's such a ridiculous price, might as well just make it into an amenity... But overall - we were really glad to have chosen this hotel!!

“Bon rapport qualité prix”
Hôtel confortable et bien situé. Accès voiture pas évident à trouver, il faut prendre une contre-allée à l'arrière de l'hôtel. Chambre petite mais bien équipée. Literie correcte.
“Small and sweet”
We stayed for 2 nights and we were very satisfied with the condition of the rooms in this ideally located hotel, within walking distance from the main attractions. In case you do not feel like walking, particularly when coming back after a day out in the old city , just hop on one of the small white electric buses which will drop you close to the hotel - and it is free ! Need to point out that there is no lift at the hotel and the stairs are quite narrow, but we could live with that. In general the space for common areas has been kept down to the minimum, but they have managed to put up a laptop with free internet access - may not be sufficient for business travellers, but as leisure travellers we enjoyed that hotel representing good value for money.
“Noisy in front rooms, but quaint and charming”
A friend and I stayed two night, one in a single king-sized room, and one in a two queen room. The king room was in the back of the hotel so it was very quiet--we didn't hear a single other person inside or outside. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was very modern and pretty. The second night, in the room with two beds, we were on the second floor in the front of the hotel. It was very noisy with the windows open, but we weren't trying to sleep so it was fine. Once we closed the windows, it was slightly noisy, but it didn't bother us too much. Breakfast is standard Continental fare, but to get to it you had to go down some stairs, up some stairs, and down a bunch of twisty hallways to get there. Parking is also really cheap, at 20 Canadian dollars per night.
“A place close to the enterteinment industry”
The hotel had renewed the rooms. It has a nice decoration, however it does not have an elevator. It is an old and small house. It is located in a beautiful area, where everything happens. Restaurants, weddings, parties. People in the hotel are friendly and very helpfull.
“Great location!”
I was on the main floor which was convenient, but the room was not as attractive as others. However, the service was excellent; the breakfast was ample and the servers were very pleasant. The hotel service as a whole was extremely good although the maid service was not that professional. The location was very close to the old city walls and the street was lined with great restaurants and cafes!
