“Budget hotel. It is OK but don't expect too much.”

This is a buget hotel near airport. It takes 15 min to downtown. Hotel was OK considering what I have paid for.

“Avergae experience”

Staff was very helpful and friendly, Hotel needs some improvements specially airconditioning and bathroom. Hotel is not too far from old Quebec. You just take an highway you are there in 15 minutes. Quite neighbourhood. Good deal for cheap rate.

“Last place to stay!!”

It was a very bad experience for us. the staff is excellent and they try to provide the best service but the condition of the Hotel is far from what you expect from a "Howard Johnson Hotel." There is no Air conditioning inside the building and I was thinking, how the staff could work under those circunstances? There is just one ice maker machine that was not working properly and it was not enough for the number of clients; we stayed 3 nights and of 2 of those days, the machine was not working. It seems that the owner is not paying attention to the needs of the Hotel. There is much to say...

“Very Dirty Room, Good Location, Ok Breakfast”

Let's simply put it this way, the room was full of hair everywhere: beds, sink, bathtub. The room looks like it was barely clean from last guest. Small room, not very comfortable beds. Good location, close to Walmart, some restaurants, and McDonalds. About 20 minutes from Old Quebec. Breakfast was ok. The hotel needs a lot of maintanance, special cleaning inside and out. Carpet was very dirty as well (room and hallways). I won't go back to this hotel...

“Won't go back there”

I chose this hotel based on other reviews and also its brand. But our experience was not what you expect from a Howard Johnson hotel. Our room was in a very poor shape. It had a bad smell which did not go away after two days of leaving the window open and turning on the fan. The bathroom sink was leaking, causing a wet carpet in bathroom. Also the hair dryer was not working - it lasted only a minute and then shut off. The rooms on the first floor also do not have any privacy. On the plus side, the breakfast was descent. The hotel location is also good, close to highways and a big shopping center.

“First night was terrible !!!”

First night was so terrible that we decided to leave next morning even though we paid for 2 nights !!! Too noisy all night !! People were running like crazy bulls in the corridors all night, yelling and screaming. The hotel staff didnt seem to care !! Cigarette burns on the furniture and carpet. The room smelled of smoke which kept the kids awake all night. The bedsheets and pillow felt as if they were made of plastic. No ground maintenence as there was solid ice around the building making it dangerous just to get to our car. The staff didnt bother why we were cutting short our stay even though we told them about all the issues. Its a total waste of money staying there.

“Absolutely horrible”

The hotel is older, not updated and the rooms are in poor condition. The location is certainly out of the way. The rooms were dark with decor that seemed circa 1975. Low quality, older barely functioning window unit air cond units made our summer stay, humid and barely tolerable. Front desk staff were unprofessional. The ice machine was broken during my stay and water was dripping from the bathroom cieling. The rooms maid service was sloppy and items like towels were not properly replenished.
