“Nice hotel”
It's kinda like a vintage hotel, has one elevator. Free breakfast was nice and was good. Found it a little far to walk for sightseeing, so we drove and parked closer. Parking fees were hefty though. 16 for a day when driving to places, hotel parking is 20 a day
“Excellent Plan B”
This hotel offer a god ratio quality/price in a up and coming neighbourhood. walking distance to all the tourist attraction.
“Old World Style”
Nice hotel although it was in a part of Qubec city with not much to do. It was w/i walking distance of Old Quebec as long as you wear comfortable shoes. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and did their best to make our stay pleasent. The room was a little small but the high ceilings helped make it feel roomier. If we go back we would stay again.
“Close to everything without the luxury price.”
We were pleased to find our hotel much closer to Old Quebec than we expected. Nicely decorated, but views were unimpressive (into another apartment building/hostel?) and the bed was not as luxurious as some 4 star hotels. It was a great place to spend the night since we were all about seeing the city.

“Very nice hotel, recommend!”
The staff was very nice and ready to help, they suggested very nice restaurants and sightseeing. There was no restaurant in the hotel, but there are severals near by. The rooms are nice and had a great size, as well the bathrooms. Very good hotel, we will stay there other times, for sure.
“Convenient location”
The location was the key for the hotel. Old Quebec is an easy walk and I'm sure this hotel was a lot less expensive than in the prime tourist area. Rooms are clean and satisfactory, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was not open for dinner, and the immediate area around the hotel has limited selection.
“Very happy Jan!”
Would certainly stay there again.
“Nice and convenient”
Quite convenient location, clean basic hotel, good price/quality, if you are looking just bed to sleep. Much closer to Old Quebec than expected (15 min walk) either through rue Couronne and 50 m stairs up or easier way through B Charest E and Rue St Paul to lower Old Town (very nice shops and restaurants, almost better than upper one). There is grocery store and bakery behind the hotel. Gare du Palais (train, bus) is on way to lower old town (10 min walk). In spite of what some other reviews say, there is no breakfast and staff speaks good English.
“Great place for a budget stay”
the location is very nice, walking distance to Vieux Quebec (with a free elevator for the lazy tourist, or if you suffer of acrophobia using the stairs). Pretty hip Rue St. Joseph right behind the Hotel, with can make for a pretty rowdy crowd on weekend nights (bring ear plugs!). As far as I could tell, no breakfast... but there is a Starbucks across the street.
