“Great Hotel”

Great child friendly hotel. Our room was well equipped with a full functioning kitchen (unlike our hotel with a kitchenette in Montreal that didn't have anything in the kitchen). Nice view and location on the edge of the old city. The restaurant below serves decent food and the staff were very courteous. For the money this is a winner.

“Reasonable choice”

The location is good but not so good if you want to spend time in the fort area for which you have to walk up the stairs or take the elevator. The latter can be issue if you are not able to walk or have small kids.

“Can't wait to go back!!”

The rooms were wonderful and clean and the restaurant in the hotel was great. The overall atmosphere was perfect and the city surrounding was beautiful!!!

“Bon rapport qualité/prix”

Un très bon hôtel bien situé. Les chambres sont confortables avec une décoration contemporaine de très bon gout. Cet hotel est situé dans des anciens entrepots dont les propriétaires ont voulu garder l'âme. Idem pour le restaurant de l'hôtel qui, de plus, est très bon.

“Quebec City-Great Hotel”

This is a really nice hotel with very comfortable rooms. Full kitchen, nice linens,clean, decorated in a modern,"bistro" sort of way. For a family, the kids can be in another room. The cafe connected to the hotel, with indoor or outdoor seating was really good. It has a cool, artsy atmosphere. Nice staff throughout the hotel and cafe'. It was just great. It is located at the bottom of "the hill" but easy walking distance to everything in the old city. Nice restaraunts just steps away, just down from the Museum of Civilzation. Very close to the shops of Petite Champlaine. Loved it!

“Outstanding, hip, very new boutique suites hotel”

Hotel Port-Royal is an excellent suites hotel. It has a great location, in the lower town part of the old city of Quebec, and is close to plenty of restaurants, bars, attractions, etc. The suite/room itself was a studio, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Having a mini-fridge and microwave can be handy. The bed was comfy, and best of all everything was new, well-maintained, and very cool design. Staff were helpful (managed to get a hard-to-get restaurant reservation at the last minute), and the hotel has a hip casual restaurant and a brew-pub downstairs. Will not stay anywhere else when I'm next in Quebec City!

“Great Hotel with Fantastic Location”

We were extremely pleased with the Hotel Port-Royal. The rooms were nicely appointed, the staff was extremely helpful, and you could not beat the location. Very historic area with European feel. Everything was within easy walking distance from the front door. We would definately return to the Port-Royal if visiting Quebec.

“Best bargain in Quebec City!”

This is a beautiful boutiquet hotel with a wonderfully supportive staff! Great rates and incredibly large suites! Our a/c didn't work well in our first room and they cheerfully moved us to an upgraded suite - like an apartment. We had 4 teenagers with us in another room - they raved about the place. We can't say enough great things about Le Port Royal!

“Great location and hotel”

My wife and I loved this hotel. The rooms are far different than a normal hotel room and look more like a modern room out of an architectural magazine. The staff was a pleasure to interact with. The location is a perfect one for anyone who is interested in a great base for sightseeing.

“Huge rooms, great cost just outside the old city walls”

The lobby and lounge area was a bit small, but really nice and well kept. We had a one-bedroom suite which was HUGE and spotless. Only issues were that there was only one elevator and it was very slow - so we had to wait. Also, they were pretty full the night we stayed there and ran out of parking spots, so we had to park in a lot across the street over night. Not a big deal, just a bit inconvenient. Other than that, the location is great, just outside the old city walls and DEFINITELY worth the price!
