“Decent Room for the Money”

We took a drive from Toronto to the East Coast (stopping in multiple places along the way). By far, this was the least expensive hotel/motel we stayed at. It served well. We just needed a clean place to sleep with a running bathroom. There isn't much within walking distance. But about a 5 minute drive away allowed us to get dinner from St. Hubert. There was a complimentary breakfast that was more than expected from the price (choice of cereals, bread, etc.) The hotel/motel is not in the tourist district, but I'm sure could be driven to it without a problem.

“No rollaway bed”

That was very nice stay with a kitchen and kitchen tools in our room. It was very comfortable for staying with my baby. But the one disappointment was a rollaway bed which we requested. We only got a mattress and blanckets so, we tried to make a "kind of a bed" with chairs. It was suitable for 5 yrs old son but not for an adult. Anyway I wil recommend this hotel for any of families specially with little ones.

“Not impressed”

Air conditioning didn't work. Room was made up with fresh towels. Continental breakfast was not monitored, ran out of milk, coffee, muffins, etc.

Area recommendations

For more money, probably better to stay in a place closer to the attractions and where the staff understands you.

“Convenient and comfortable”

We feel lucky to have found this hotel/motel. It is near the river, very close to Montmorency Falls, and only 10 minutes from the center of town. Our upstairs hotel room was a little small, but very comfortable and clean, with a window we could open and see across the river. The continental breakfast is very limited--good coffee with milk, cereal and OJ, but only white bread or packaged muffins (no croissants or brioches). All in all a good deal, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Area recommendations

Of course the old city is amazing, but the outlying neighborhoods were also very interesting--little parks, streams, churches, people.

“Bang for your Buck!”

Very comfortable and clean room. Staff were friendly. Simple breakfast that met our needs. Good location and access to highway. Great value. Only criticism would be that the whirl pool wasn't hot and staff were not prepared to increase the temperature. The sauna wasn't hot either. Family friendly hotel-motel.

Area recommendations

Old Quebec City. Charming and closest imitation of European city in North America. The skiing at Le Massif (Baie St-Paul) was great too.

“great value, not a flashy hotel but comfy and pleasant”

i cant say much more than that- inexpensive, friendly bilingual staff, and a lovely indoor pool. not a flashy place if you're into that sort of thing, but if you're the kind of traveler who just wants a cheap, clean, safe place to sleep and shower, this is it.

“Nice hotel.”

“nice hotel with swimming pool”

Swimming pool, sauna, bath : great ! Unfortunately there were problems with the Internet (did not work)

“Friendly and confortable”

We had a really nice at this hotel. The room decoration is not really up to date, but still the rooms were pretty causy. We had 3 rooms and the matress were different in everyone of them, so was the decoration. For the price we paid, it was more than what we exepected. The location is great because it's not really far from old Québec (10-15 minutes). The pool and sauna were nice to use, there's a conveniant exercise room. We were a little bit disapointed by the breakfast; only toasts and cereales. The staff was really friendly :) I would totaly recomand it if you're looking for something not too expensive and confortable.

You have to go to the Cosmo restaurant for dinner. It's amazing :) Great food, ambiance a little bit loud, but still i'm sure you'll enjoy your evening! (It's located on Grand allée)
