“Best hotel ever!”

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked the Grand Luxury Room for 6 nights and asked to be in a renovated room on an upper floor at the back of the hotel. The room was super clean, the bathroom was beautiful and modern, the beds were super comfortable and clean with a nice light duvet and each bed had 4 queen size pillows. We have travelled quite a bit and we all agreed that the beds were the most luxurious we have ever slept on in a hotel. You will get a great sleep. What is great is that even though the room has a digital temperature control for you to use, it is a base heater located at the window, and so you don't get any noise or fan to disturb you, and the room was very toasty warm for us. The room and the hallways were so quiet, it was lovely. We found the staff at the front desk very hospitable and friendly and always willing to help you. We travelled to Quebec for Winter Carnival and it was loads of fun. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again and hope to return to Quebec City in the summer to experience all it has to offer. Every meal we had was exceptional with great service, but the meals are a little expensive so budget for this. Everyone we met was willing to speak English and we had no problem whatsoever with not speaking French fluently. We had a wonderful vacation, and the Hotel Manior Victoria was a big part of our trip being highly successful.

“Lovely respite in Quebec City.”

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The only minor drawbacks were a small bathroom and the 26 steps you have to climb to get to the lobby. We knew this ahead of time, but it is daunting at the end of busy day and you are in your 60s. We loved the location in the older section of town which was easy to get around. Would definitely return in future.

“Rejuvenating and uplifting”

This hotel was clean and fresh, the staff were friendly and quirky and the location was wonderfully central to vieux-Quebec, in an area full of spirit. The staff were quick to help carry our luggage up the stairs (so don't be dismayed when you first walk in the door!) We appreciated the mini bar in the room, and the pillows and the sheets were luxurious. Couldn't have asked for more!

“Nice Hotel”

Staff were extra courteous and helpful. Room was great, very spacious and clean. Top quality hotel with doorman and elegant lobby.Indoor pool and facilities is a plus also.Location is fantastic - a short walk to the Frontenac. Only draw back is the stairs at the entrance. They are wide with good rails but have a few steps to climb to the lobby. An escalator or elevator would make this our 1st choice hotel in Quebec City every time however anyone with mobility problems would have a problem. the staff are very quick to assist with baggage and taxi's. On the whole we were very impressed with this hotel.

“Great location, excellent for young families.”

The hotel staff were extremely friendly from arrival to departure. We are a young family of four, and they accommodated that very nicely. The bell-person helped bring our stroller up and down each and every time we came and went, and locked it in a room near to the stairs. The pool was very nice (although more of a serene experience, and less for play) and the rooms were clean. We were also provided with a crib for the room... a nice bonus for those traveling with young infants.
