Perfect location, great price and nice facilities

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: perfect location, away from rush but yet very reachable free breakfast included so as parking double-bed room, had 2 TVs (not flat screen though)
Cons: parking can become a challenge late night arrival not much space to hang up your cloths for multi-day stay basic tiny (dated) bathroom, A/C just ok
perfect location, 3 miles from old city quebec and 4 from montmorency falls good breakfast room was comfortable, a little warm for my taste (wifey was happy and toasty) in summer and even though A/C was running full time, had little effect to the comfort. basic (but clean) bathroom, little smaller

Not the best

Posted 16-Aug-2014
Pros: Breakfast was adequate
Cons: Most could be improved
Staff was OK but the hotel seemed like a bit of a lie, somehow very different from the advertisements etc. Bed was uncomfortable (hard) and facilities just ok.

Pleasant surprise

Posted 28-Jul-2014
Cons: The neighborhood bar just off the lobby was a little off putting
Location: This hotel was on the road out to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre. Easy access to Old Quebec
Our room was actually a sort of suite. The second bed was is separated from the main room by sliding doors. The hotel was in a quiet residential area not far from the Old City.

Old and far way "MOTEL"

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff was helpful.
Cons: Everything needs improvement. Furniture. paint job and breakfast food and area made attractive.
Location: Poor location for sightseeing Old Quebec City. Not in a good part of town, and very far way from attractions and restaurants. $15.00 cab ride.
The hotel is more like a motel. It is very far away from Old Quebec City over 8 miles, not the 3 miles Expedia advertised. It is a $15.00 cab ride one way. Not in a very nice part of town. Le Voyageur is very old and dingy. Lamp shades are torn, A/C unit framed with plywood, rusted metal in the bathroom and breakfast room had duck tape holding an electrical outlet. The continental breakfast was minimal, not fresh and the room was like a dungeon.

Okay for the price but noisy

Posted 11-Jul-2014
For the price it was good but the facility is quite dated. Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was fine. More of a place for a team going to a tournament than a family stop.

Fair price

The night staff was awesome. I don't speak French and they were super happy to speak English for me. We had a puppy with us and they loved having him around. Although the room we had was very big, it wasn't that clean. Very outdated and grungy looking.
