“Very enjoyable”

As a hotel of middle size, Delta provided everything you want for a five star hotel. Health center, warm water swimming pool, and a good in-hotel restaurant. That was a wonderful stay for me.

Area recommendations
The Old Quebec city is an historic scenery, erfectly by walking. All the houses, castles, and churches attract your eyes. And the area of the city is just optmal for a person to complete it in one or two days. The most comfortable season would be in September.
Family-friendly activities
As a historic city, Quebec is perfect place for family.

“Nice Hotel close to old town”

The hotel is quite large, with a strange logistic, closed on a high traffic street. The room was OK, although quite noisy due to air conditioner and refrigerator. The walls of the old town are 10' walk away.

Area recommendations
Quebec Old town is a nice place, dedicated to tourists (with all nice and bad aspects of this), very lively. The parliament house is close to the hotel can be visited for free and it is interesting. There is a strong celebration of "France origins" all over the town, and of all the events following the take of power of British and the rights and power obtained by french-speaking people in the last tens of years. If you plan to move by walking, consider that all the area is build on a large hill, so distances that might seem short, may require time and efforts. In the area, transportation is poor.

“Amazing”

Location is perfect. Out the back and you're close to one of the shopping districts. Out the front and you're basically across the street from the legislative buildings and another entrance to the old city. And the beds were soooo comfortable - definitely important after a day of walking. Internet connection was hit and miss but otherwise everything perfect.

“great price for location”

Everything clean, price reasonable. Lobby is not much to talk about (i.e. not fancy), but close to everything. Hotel staff very courteous, though a little slow to answer telephone if you call down to reception

“Disappointing. !”

If you don't know French in Quebec you will be treated differently...I heard this from friends and acquaintances before leaving the city and then experienced it exactly as I was told... but then do you need to experience all this even in the hotel as reputed as Delta???!!!!....I really was not ready for that to say the least.... the reception staff was cold, phone in the room was not working, you need to ask for the keys for an empty refrigerator !!!??? Any ways, the city is beautiful and worth visiting especially for the whale watching excursion which was a once in a life time kinda thing for me !!
