“Very impressed with the hotel, but ...”

The hotel is wonderful. The room was very clean and it was maintained clean during our stay. It was big with a NY style wall. All the facilities are in good condition, including game room, pool tables (2), outdoor hot tubs. The swimming pool wasn't very big though and you can't freely go for a swim in it. The fitness center was quite small, more like a fitness room, even though it had most of the equipment you need for a good cardio session. We would have been very impressed overall with our stay, if it wasn't for the fact that the ski season opening, which was supposed to happen this same weekend, was cancelled and they said it will happen the next week. I think that this was kind of misleading way to attract more visitors during the low season. So if you are headed for a nice ski vacation keep that in mind. They shouldn't have the countdown on the website, if not 100% sure, I think. p.s. I even checked this week to see if the ski season would open, but it looks it is been postponed for another week.

“Nice surroundings”

We were very happy with the hotel / ski resort . It is 30 min form Quebec city, so some driving is involved in going to Quebec CIty, but the advantage is also that St Annes Canyons, famous Basilica and Montmorency waterfalls are very close to the hotel. So you save time either way. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Chateau St Anne”

Amazing location!!! Beautiful views and a very helpful staff. Chateau is undergoing a major renovation with their new Espace Nordik roomos/condos, however even the older rooms were still pleasant. The kitchenettes were a nice touch as well.

“Great, relaxing place”

Flu to QC City from Calgary. Wanted a hotel close to QC City but not in the core. The chateau Mont Saint Anne was great. We booked into the new Noridc rooms and they were very clean. Bed was fantastic. Was close to QC city (20mins) and had great pool. I brought my road bike enjoyed the riding in the area. The roads are good and drivers not aggressive. Rented mountain bike to try local trails. They were lots of fun. Food at Chateau Bistro was really good. Recommend staying at Chateau to anyone.

“Worth every penny”

Spent one night in a King Nordik Room and loved it. Wish we stayed longer! Remember to make use of the kitchen - bring wine, cheese and a baguette for a complete experience!

“Not impressed”

The hotel is in nice quiet area great for relaxation, lots of nature activities in the area. The hotel needs some updates, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the closet door was broken. However, the suite was spacious and convenient if travelling with children.The elevator was very far from my room, I was kind of scared to walk alone because the hallways were long and kind of dark. The indoor pool is small but the outdoor one is nice. The restaurant was OK and the staff were friendly but some did not speak English.

Area recommendations

Quebec City is defenitely a must see. Plenty of historical places, restaurants and other fun activities. It's about apprx 45 mins from this hotel but the drive is very pleasant.

“the place is very nice and also the views and nearest outdoor resort... planning to go backnext year”

The only thing that frustrate me is the outdoor and indoor pool closed early as expected. Also, My guess chateau room is not quiet clean... carpet need to be replace.

“Ski Lodge”

We stayed here to be close to the International Fireworks Show at Montmorency Falls. Because it was summer, many of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season. So not much to review.

Area recommendations

The Jean LaRousse falls are a must see. A good hike.

“I would probably plan another trip”

“Best hotel for skiing, book new Nordik studios”

Great hotel location at Mont Sainte Anne with shutle to Massif. Newly renovated Nordik studios are fabulous. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Bistro had fun atmosphere and good food. Bid lobby with extra large fireplace and peacefull.
