“Nice hotel, Good location”

L'Auberge du Quartier is a lovely hotel within reasonable walking distance (for those who like to walk) many wonderful sites, restaurants, cafes, etc. Parking is the one area of service that might need improvement.

“Would stay here again”

This hotel is about a leisurely 20 mins walk from old town. There are many restaurants with outdoor seating along the way. The hotel is very well presented. Our room was downstairs and was very well furnished with 2 **very** comfortable beds; 2 other members of our party were on the ground floor with a single king size bed that was also reported as being very comfortable. The lower floor room was equipped with a rather large standalone A/C that vented through the basement window - we didn't need it, but a quick test implied that it would easily have handled the job if necessary. The ground floor room was equipped with a more typical in-window A/C. Parking is at the rear of the building (parking stall specific rearview mirror tags are provided at check-in). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is provided in the comfortable dining room and is buffet-continental style with no cooked items, but we all found it more than adequate. If one were to prefer a cooked breakfast, it should be pointed out that just around the corner there is a side road with plenty of choice of cafes and restaurants. We have also stayed (twice) in another hotel in Quebec City and were very pleased with that as well. However, the Auberge du Quartier, although not in quite as convenient a location, was significantly less expensive (particularly with the included breakfast), and we will certainly put it at the top of the list for our next visit to Quebec city.

“Would absolutely stay there again.”

We went for a 3 day 2 night mini vacation. From the moment we got there, we were fully accomodated. We were a little early so our room wasn't ready yet. But the front desk lady got all our check-in paper work done, suggested a place we could go have lunch and even gave us an umbrella when it started raining. Our room was small, but it had everything we needed. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Loved the his and her sinks in the bathroom. Definitely not a hotel for a business traveller (ie tiny desk, dim lights). The ipod dock was a nice surprise too. Closet was kinda small too, so don't bring lots of luggage there's no where to store it. We didn't make it to the breakfast service, we like to sleep in. My only complaint would be that they start cleaning kinda early and the rooms aren't soundproofed enough to run a vaccuum in the next room without being disturbed. We brought our bikes on this trip. We were shown a locked shed to the side of the house were we could store them.

“A Perfect B&B”

They don't call it a bed and breakfast, but it really is, and the price is amzing for the quality of the rooms, the attention guests receive, and the delightful breakfast in the morning. Our room was small, but cozier than our bedroom at home and the bed was so comfortable. We arrived more than three hours before check-in, but before we knew it, they had a room and parking space ready for us. It is also a short walk to Old Town Quebec and other sections of the city and very easy to find from the autoroute (interstate). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Quebec City who wants to experience true Quebecoise charm and hospitality.

“Great Stay”

I would call it more of a bed and breakfast than hotel but great no matter how you classify it! The room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, very pleasent and helpful staff, and a nice selection for breakfast. The room was simply decorated but extremely clean. It's a 15 walk from Old Quebec and right across the street from the Plains of Abraham, Wolfe Monument and Art Museum. The only downfall was no tub in our bathroom just a very small shower which I imagine would be awkward for larger people. Over all though it was well worth the great price and I recommend it!

“Stylish and convenient hotel”

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a B&B feel with your hotel. Excellent location around the corner from many restaurants and bars and 15 mins walking from the old part of town. The room was very small but we didn't mind since it was so modern in both features and interior design. A lot of style to be sure! The only downsides are a very small shower and, despite a large breakfast area, breakfast is not included in the room fee.

“Charming hotel!”

We stayed for 1 night at the Auberge. This place is truely charming and very nicely decorated. The bed was amazingly comfortable! The location is perfect, a 5 minutes walk to the many shops and restaurants from Rue Cartier, 10 minutes from Grand Allee restaurants and bars, it is accross Musee du Quebec (for art lovers) and accross from the battle field of the Plaine d'Abraham. It is hard to find better than that! A few negative points: The continental breakfast is not included, our room was small and we had very little room to put our suitcases.

“Charming Hotel”

A good half hour walk from downtown but in a very safe, charming neighborhood, across from a large park and art museum. Very close to Rue Cartier where there is a lot of shopping and restaurants.
