“Would definitely go back again!”
If you are driving to Venice I think this is the best hotel you could stay in. The location is perfect, the staff helpful, the price very good, the continental breakfast one of the better ones I've had, the rooms are clean & modern and the parking is for free. I'm an Airline Pilot who spends a lot of time travelling for both work and personal reasons and this hotel is a place I would return to without any second thoughts. We had three adults in our party and we got one room at a very reasonable price. Across the street from the hotel is a grocery store and there are a few restaurants literally around the corner. Sure there isn't much to do in the immediate area, but we were going to see Venice not sightsee other places. The hotel staff is very helpful and speak English. They can sell you train tickets for Venice (with no mark-up) as the train station only has a machine in Italian. You can park at the hotel even after checkout or at the train station for free. It is about a 3 min drive or 10 min walk. The train ride into Venice is 35 minutes but it goes by very quickly.
“VENICE AIRPORT”
THE HOTEL WAS NEAT AND CLEAN, AS WAS OUR ROOM. WE WERE SPENDING ONE NIGHT IN TRANSIENT TO PARIS FOR OUR RETURN TO THE USA. THEY HAD A GOOD BREAKFAST BUFFET. THE HOTEL APPEARS TO CATER TO TOUR GROUPS AND THE BREAKFAST TIME WAS BUSY, BUSY, BUT WE ENJOYED WHAT WE ATE. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS THEIR "AIR PORT SHUTTLE". THEY ADVERTISE THE FREE SHUTTLE, BUT DON'T MENTION THAT IT IS ON A FIXED SCHEDULE. WE ARRIVED AT 6:25 pm AND THE NEXT SHUTTLE WAS NOT UNTIL 8:30pm, SO WE HAD A $41.00 TAXI FARE TO GET TO HOTEL. THE NEXT MORNING WE HAD TO LEAVE AT 7:45am TO AVOID THE TAXI FARE.
“hotel Vime venice à quarto d'altino: situation ideale pour visiter Venise”
accueil excellent; le personel parle français et est tres serviable. sur demande, les horaires et tickets de train pour Venise sont disponibles à l'accueil. après 10 minutes de marche pour arriver en gare, on atteind Venise en 20 à 30 minutes suivant l'horaire de départ (plus ou moins d'arret) parking reservé pour l'hotel. hotel et chambre propre mis à part quelques traces sur le mur de notre chambre. service de chambre tous les matins avec changement systématiques des draps. déjeuner buffet copieux et varié. petite ville sympa avec tous commerces ràs; je recommande

We needed a hotel with parking, can't get that in Venice :) To Venice can take a train, tickets at reception. Great breakfast.

“Airport Hotel East Quarto d Altino”
This is a new hotel about 15 minutes from the airport. The name is very confusing in that it is a Crown Plazza. The hotel is In Altino, which is certainly not a tourist area, but there are resturants and stores near by with prices much lower then the city of Venice. I am told the train station was nearby which was a convenient way to get into venice. Around the hotel there is little to do or see. They do run a shuttle service to the airport, and it ran ontime, and when I arrived during an in between period they scheduled a special pickup. There is not charge for the shuttle, which I am told some hotels do impose. The rooms are very spartan but where clean, and slightly above average size. I used it because I had a very early morning flight, and was happy with my choice.
“Hotel sympa et pratique pour visiter venise en plusieur jours”
Un très bon point pour le service hotelier qui s'efforce à parler le français ! hotel situé 10mn d'une gare, bien pour ceux qui veulent visiter venise sans forcément y passer la nuit. par contre chambre un peu froide malgré un chauffage à fond et bruyant.
“Hôtel agréable”
Nous revenons de Venise (du 26 au 29 avril 2011). Cet hôtel est très agréable. Les réceptionnistes sont courtois et serviables, les chambres très propres, les lits confortables, le petit déjeuner copieux (salé/sucré). Il y a bien la TV, la clim, le seche cheveux le coffre fort et un frigo. Le wifi est payant (4 euros l'heure) Par contre il faut être conscient que l'on est à 800m de la gare soit 10 min à pied et à 15 min en train de Mestre ou 25 min de Venise (gare de Santa Lucia). Il est possible d'acheter les billets de train à la réception (d'ailleurs pas de guichet dans la gare de Quarto d'Altino). Il faut compter 1.85 euros pour Mestre et 2.40 euros pour Venise l'aller simple. Pour s'y rendre à partir de l'aéroport, il faut d'abord prendre un bus bleu à 5 euros jusqu'à la gare de Mestre puis le train jusq'uà Quarto Altino (direction Trieste ou PortoGruaro). Les horaires sont aussi disponibles à la réception. Autour de l'hôtel il n'y a pas grand chose: un supermarché, une station essence et un pizzeria. En gros c'est tout. Par contre nous recommandons la pizzeria: nous y avons très bien mangé pour un prix raisonnable. (elle est fermée le jeudi) Bon séjour à Venise (l'idéal est au moins trois jours complets)
