Pau Hotel
Don't bother to book if you can not speak French.
You must also ring to confirm or they will NOT let you in as there is no reception.
There are also no refunds a very bad service.
I can not rate the rest of the hotel as never saw it.
The hotel is not as described. The beautiful picture is not how it looks. Lots of trash and piles of crap outside around the hotel. The banister going up the stairs is broken and missing spindles making it unsafe, the rooms are poorly cleaned. trash from previous guest in my room. and what is up with the shared bathroom?! I did not have breakfast here because of the cost almost $10 for a pastry and coffee when there is an authentic bakery a few minutes walk towards town that charges $3 for coffee and croissants.
Not the best vibe from manager - not very hospitable. Rooms are fairly run down. Beautiful French doors. No WiFi available in our room. ost was bare room - no shower- paid an extra 20 - 30 euro per night for bathroom in room.
Super small room - had to make up 3rd bed - bathroom used to grow mushrooms on shower wall — no fan or air conditioner - very old and out dated - for €58 - not good at all - compared to Hotel Don Juan bear Guandeluoe - what a perfection for £66
Good value so the finish and decor of the rooms is acceptable as is the shared toilet. New work on the breakfast room and outside seating area nice. Breakfast adequate. On site parking a plus point, steepness of stairs may be a problem.
The room may have been clean but it didn't feel like it. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Had to take a bus to center of town which isn't very convenient. We had breakfast in a nearby cafe/bar. There is ample free parking available
Needed a stop over and this was a great find. The owner and his wife were very friendly and the breakfast was good. It's a short walk or drive into the centre of Pau which is an interesting town to visit for the evening.
Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff greeted us. We stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortably finished. Excellent value for money and in a good, safe and quiet neighbourhood.

Simple hotel, good value
This is a simple hotel, close to the city centre. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds and good showers. Breakfast is good. The owners are very helpful. We had bikes and were able to leave them overnight in their garage.

adequate accomodations
This hotel has great potential with more attention given to grounds and decor. Hosts were very pleasant. Clean room and good breakfast. Lacks charm, and street noise was an issue.
The room was disappointingly small (like in a Paris hotel), but it was very clean, calm, and had easy parking. Good bar eakfast as well. Close to the university and not far from the downtown.

Good value and friendly owners
Very friendly owners. Good location. Good value for nothing at all fancy. Breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was though.
