“Wonderful vacations”
We spent wonderful days at the Hotel, the staff very friendly, the accomodation very good, the food was also very good, specially the breakfast with asssorted mixed juice just made in this moment according to the wish of the guest. Only the decoration specially at the reception hall was really kitsch 100% ! Deco with gold,black, silver, yellow, purpel and fuchsia !!!! But everything else was very good.

“We want to return ASAP”
We had an amazing time, the staff was completely wonderful and so cheerful. We had very noisy neighbors for the first two nights, and after complaining (calling in the middle of each night), the front desk staff upgraded us to a rom that far surpassed our expectations. It was beautiful, with a water view and definitely made up for two nights of poor sleep. This hotel had yummy drinks, good food (delicious fruit and fish especially), gorgeous pools, and great services. Two suggestions: 1) add a couple more treadmills in the fitness room. Each morning that I went in to the gym, I had to wait for one of the three machines. 2) begin recycling. This was my biggest complaint. There was so much waste! I'd love to see recycling bins at the bars for all the used bottles. And then at least one bin at each pool would be a good start. There was no place to recycle all the water bottles, etc... Other than those two things, I wouldn't improve anything. In fact, we're already talking about when we can go back!
“Nice, clean resort with great beach”
The room and hotel were very clean; the fact that the resort is new helps but there was always someone cleaining and we had no complaints about the cleanliness or comfort of our room. The room design is a little different with the tub and bathroom sinks in the open but this was not a problem since we were a couple in a single room. The shower was nice and large and water was always warm when needed. The bar service was excellent at most bars and just okay at a couple. The food was typical all-inclusive with a lot of variety but was not "excellent" in my opinion. The beach was exceptional; plenty of shade if you wanted it (as well as sun) and open chairs were easy to find. We had a great time and would return.

Hotel and staff were excellent. Hotel was beautiful, food was good and everyone was very friendly. We had a great time.

Place was incredible, i.e. very modern, clean and beautiful. Place is big, but very accomodating, pool was nice, beach great. Wife think the drinks could have been a little better, but they used top shelf stuff and were generous with the pour. Had a great time.

brand new palace, great value, just a few non working features, not vital to the overall picture, like a non responding remote and a sink screen that blocked all the time.
“GREAT TIME AT THE RIU PALACE BAVARO”
EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY WAS GREAT, ONLY COMPLAINT WAS NOT A RESTROOM BY THE POOL BAR. FOOD WAS GREAT, ROOM VERY NICE, STAFF VERY HELPFUL,PROPERTY BEAUTIFUL. SPECTACULAR OCEAN VIEW.
“Excellent Weeks Stay.”
The staff was very friendly, courteous and accomodating. All requests we asked of were taken care off. Our hair dryer broke. I called the front desk to have a new one installed while we were at the pool. When we came back to the room everything was ready to go. The maids came by twice a day to clean the rooms, replace towels and turn over the beds for us. Excellent experience. I recommond the RIU Palace Bavaro to everyone.
“The place to be”
I understand this hotel opened in Dec, 2012. It is on property with 4 hotels from the same chain so you can go to each one for meals. If you are a couple that just wants to get away and wind down or a newly wed, this hotel has everything you want. The pool, food staff and room were great. Few kids, but they had things to do as well. Many excellent places to eat, drink and dance. Overall a great place to stay and I did sign up for their reward program.
