“One of the Best in Punta Cana”

This was a great choice. Hotel was in a great location with all amenities you can as for, great pool, great beach and the food was awesome. One of the best about food is that they have a local flavor, many hotels don't offer Dominican food and this one have almost everything you can ask for. The people were amazing, if you have never been to the DR you will be impressed. We will like to specially thank Tony from the mail buffet, also Sergio and Francisco. We celebrated my wife's birthday and they went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. This is a great place to enjoy a week with the family and we even traveled with a one year old baby. Don't forget to tip !

“Unbelievable Hotel for the Money”

I searched online for about two weeks and finally decided based on all the reviews I read that I would try the majestic colonial. All I can say is I was extremely impressed. Aside from the slow employees working at the front desk, everybody is helpful and friendly. We had an ocean front suite which was amazing. I recommend getting an ocean view suite: you dont have to walk very far to the beach and pool if you need to go back and forth to your room. The hotel was clean and looked great - its brand new so all the flowers and plants are still young. nevertheless the hotel is awesome. The Food - unbelievable for an all inclusive (and I have stayed at AIs before). The food was soooo good no matter where you ate (the Japanese restaurant was good and so were the steak and seafood restaurants. We left the hotel once to go on a four wheeler excursion which was amazing - a must do. Snorkeling was fun - bring bread with you to feed the fish. All in all you cant beat the price and the hotel. Enjoy

“Can't wait to go back”

This place is unbelievable beautiful, the bartenders are great, the food is awesome, and the rooms are so nicely decorated and clean. The pool is gorgeous. I have no complaint, after reading some of the reviews I had some doubts on staying at this hotel but I do not regret choosing The Majestic, This is one of the all inclusive resorts I have stay at with the best service.

We were very satisfied with the food and the Hotel amenities. The staff was very friendly and were very concerned with your satisfaction, they made every effort for your comfort and pleasure. The natural beauty of the area was spectacular. Our family had a great time, we felt like Millionaires for a week.

we loved this resort, it was beautiful the hotel was very pretty, and the people were so nice the shows were good the best was michael jackson one,you dont want to miss it the beach is beautiful, we have taken cruises and love them but going allinclusive we couldnt ask for a better vacation. cant wait to return.

This resort was GREAT FOR COUPLES AND WEDDINGS!!! Every day there was a different Version of a Beach Wedding!!! If you are looking to party with hot singles and get stupid crazy... then I suggest you stay away from this resort. If you feel romantic and want to cuddle up with that "special someone" book THIS HOTEL NOW.

“This resort has exceeded my expectations!”

In the past, I've gone to a few other resorts and this place is over the top! The room was great, the Jacuzzi, drinks, beach pool, etc. The food was AMAZING, they have variety of restaurants and food for every taste. The workers are great, they diserve tips. My husband and I will definitely go back next year.

“Exactly as it sounds......MAJESTIC!”

My husband and I spent 11 nights at the Majestic Colonial in June (2011) and absolutely loved it!! We had heard that the D.R. was amazing, but that we would need to be careful. Not the case.....everything about this place is amazing/safe/comfortable/clean/fun/perfect!! The hotel staff did an amazing job of setting up different events for every night. We made the most of it by going to everything!! So fun! The drinks were great.....honestly, I had read about people not being happy with the size of the solo cups that are used...but really.....why would you not want to keep trying all the drinks and not wasting! I think they are clever by using the cups....and they are excellent at making sure all garbage is constantly being cleaned up. Our room was very comfy and the beverage station was re-filled every day. Living the life...that's for sure!! We loved breakfast at the restaurant near the beach...and loved that bacon was served everyday! It's the little things, right :) We did take two excursions out of the resort and we commented that our resort was the best resort we saw! The beach is amazing....we always found a chair or palapa (sp?) on the beach...and we always had fresh towels!! We would tell anyone to stay here....it's absolutely fabulous!!

“Beautiful and Relaxing”

After completely obsessing about where to go and reading all these travelers reviews, we couldn't be more excited about chosing the Majestic. We found it hard to find anything we didn't like about this place. The staff was so nice and said "hola" everytime they walked by. Naturally they speak better Spanish then they do English, but they did just fine and it was never a problem. Have patience. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are beautiful and the food was very good. We ate awesome sirloin steaks twice in the Rodeo Grill, so if you're hard to please, keep it simple. If you're looking for a rockin' night life kind of place, then this might not be the place for you. They have a different show every night at 10 pm, that lasts about an hour. We were hysterical with laughter at the Couples Show and the Men vs Women Show. We were done for the night after that, but you could head over to the little casino or night club if you wanted to. We really followed a lot of the advice from previous travelers and made sure we had everything from sunscreen to bug spray, and was glad we did when we saw the prices there. We also went with a bunch of singles for tipping, and are so glad we did. The genuine appreciation for a $1 tip was completely worth it, along with the added attention it gained us. The Majestic is beautiful, clean, and classy, and we would go back in a heartbeat.
