“Best All-Inclusive trip ever!”
We have been to several other All-Inclusive resorts. The food and service was much better than the others.
“Best Vacation Ever”
From the moment we stepped in front of the hotel it was perfect. We were greeted with cool hand towels and cold drinks. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Our room was beautiful and the hotel was gorgeous. The food and restaurants were spectacular. The golf course was breath taking. Cannot wait to return to this hotel.
“Beautiful, Clean and Great Service.... only a few negatives.”
Let me say first that the positives here way outweigh the negatives. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.... especially in August. We had great weather, the hotel was not packed and not slow enough to not meet people or have restaurants close. The room was great, very clean, perfect size, nice balcony (some had good views, some did not), mini-bar, jacuzzi tub (which will be filled for you with champagne!), and a turn down service with pillow menu. The maid did a fantastic job. The beach was also very nice, but the ocean wasn't as nice as I expected, there was a lot of seaweed and it was not as "clear" as I was hoping. It was still very nice for swimming. The pools were also very nice but not cold. The service at the beach and pool was also great, although not sure how much alcohol they put in those pina collattas, could have 5 of them and not feel a thing. The food was okay, appeared great on the plate but wasn't very satisfying. That goes for the buffet and the restaurants. Was definitely craving a home-cooked, stick to your ribs kind of meal when I got home. The room service was bad though, especially the breakfast..... Heard the shows were good but was too tired every night to go out. Went to the "disco" in the boat a few times but were the only people there. The spa is very nice, and the "star friends" do free massages on the beach at 11:30. They also coordinate all the beach activities so there is always something to do. Would definitely recommend!
“best resort i've been to.....”

“Would never go anywhere else”
My wife and I recently stayed at the Iberostar Grand hotel Bavaro in Punta Cana, and it was the best place we have ever stayed. The hotel staff was extremely nice, the pool area was very quiet and relaxing. We had access to all of the other hotels on the property, and I really would never stay anywhere else.
“Best Hotel in Punta Cana!!!!”
We traveled to the Iberostar GRAND Hotel Bavaro for our Honeymoon. The weather was excellent as well as the Resort itself. The grounds were immaculate. The room was excellent and had a great view of the courtyard. The staff was very friendly and was very attentive to our needs. The Bartenders, Butler, Housekeepers, Chefs/Cooks, Entertainment, and Wait staff were all excellent. The hotel activities were amazing as well as the quality of food and beverage. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. We will definitely be returning back to this Resort in the near future.
“amazing”
We had our honeymoon here, 10 days, it was amazing. From the service to the hotel to the food. Make your reservations right away. Loved the shows. It was wonderful. Service will do whatever you need them to do for you, Juana was amazing. We met some cool people there too, adults only is key. This hotel was simply amazing.
“Very Impressed!”
This was our honeymoon for my husband and I. The resort is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Unlike the other Iberostar resorts that are in close proximity to this one, this resort is an adult only resort. The pool always had a cabana availible, there wasn't any screaming kids or loud techno music. It was beautiful and very relaxing. The staff was always helpful and very very kind. They will bend over backwards for you. It is useful to know a couple of words in spanish. Remember that you are going into their country. Most of the staff speak a little English, but few are fluent. The hotel room was nice, but there were tile floors. I'm sure it's more sanitary to have tile floors, especially with the sand everywhere. They provide you with some little slippers to walk around the room, that was nice. The food was very good! It was different and not like American food, but it's not America! I enjoyed trying out different things. We did end up walking next door to the family resort just to get a good ole' hamburger and french fries :)
“They set the bar too high. Not sure I'll ever be as pleased anywhere else...”
Male traveler (48) looking to relax for a few days was there Aug 16-21. The “Royal” Caribbean treat without having to mortgage the farm, where all inclusive means all inclusive. Had a junior suite with a butler and 24 hr concierge. A "Pillow Menu", full mini bar (Corona, Heineken, J Walker, all sodas) refilled any time I wanted. 24 hr room service arriving under 30 mins. Breakfast on my balcony, priceless! I had Wi Fi the room being close to the lobby (signal lost as you go towards the beach). In room safe, jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, much better A/C than any other hotel in or outside the US. Iberostar has a few hotels lined up on the same strip; this is the top of that line, adults only (security will politely escord out kids). You can use any other one of those resorts but not the other way around. Security checks wrist bands. Finding a good spot on the beach? No problem. Being off season, place was 45% full. Not the case with the other (cheaper) resorts as their beaches were packed. On that note, this is not the resort where ‘wild partying and mingling’ goes on. The clientele is a 30+, upscale-ish crowd. Couples, families, friends traveling together, etc. Great food!!! The staff? Simply amazing! Even non-tippers get the same royal treatment. I found myself tipping them every second, though, not because I was made to feel like I had to, but I wanted to. Negatives? Well, if I have to, it would be the humidity and the sea and pool waters being too warm for me (Ha-ha!)
“Absolutely Awsome!!!”
We Loved this place. The staff , the beach, and the hotel is wonderful.
