Excellence Punta Cana Luxury Adults Only All Inclusive dominates a 1.5-mile stretch of secluded white sand beach on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. Mingling with tropical palm groves, white sand beaches, and numerous recreational options, the resort has 8 restaurants and numerous bars featuring a wide range of cuisines and 24-hour room service.
Guests can enjoy two large outdoor pools. Poolside and beach service are available.
The full-service MIILE SPA health club features two outdoor spa tubs, a sauna, and a steam room (surcharges for all). Services provided at this boutique facility include body treatments, body wraps, facial treatments, hydrotherapy, manicures and pedicures, Turkish bath/Hammam and couples treatment. The health club's 13 treatment rooms include some outdoor rooms. Advanced reservations are requred for massage and spa treatments. Guests under 18 are not allowed in the spa.
Aerobics, basketball, birdwatching, miniature golf, a running track, volleyball, and yoga classes are all available at the resort. Guests can take tennis lessons and play tennis at 3 on-site courts. Ecotours, golfing, and golfing lessons are available, nearby. Other resort amenities include a hair salon, beauty services, town car or limo service, airport shuttle (available upon request), 15 conference rooms totalling 1,830 square meters (19,697 square feet) of meeting space, and a casino (surcharges). Concierge services are available 7 AM-11 PM daily (subject to change). This adults-only facility caters especially to couples.

There are 456 guest suites at Excellence Punta Cana Luxury Adults Only All Inclusive, all of which include a balcony or patio with garden or mountain views and at least 51 square meters (550 square feet) of living space. Excellence Club rooms also include private early check-in and check-out, access to the lounge with complimentary breakfasts and hors d'oeuvres, daily newspapers, two pairs of slippers, DVD and CD players, and a pillow menu. All guestrooms were renovated in 2011.
Smoking and nonsmoking rooms are available.

Recreation
The hotel's main swimming pool stretches along the oceanfront between secluded pavilions and palm trees, extending more than 800 feet. There is a well-equipped fitness center plus facilities for tennis, squash, basketball, racquetball, bocce ball, volleyball, table tennis, billiards, darts, horseshoes, lawn chess, croquet, shuffleboard, and archery. Equipment for snorkeling (surcharge), sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, fishing (surcharge), and kayaking is available, and scuba lessons are offered in the hotel's pool. Golfing is offered nearby (surcharge).
Nature enthusiasts may arrange bird watching excursions on the River Nisibon, or enjoy moonlit horseback rides along the beach (30 minutes included per guest).

“Great place, and I've been around! :)”
We had a great time at this hotel. It was very clean, fun and the food was pretty good. I would have preferred more snack booths but in all it was amazing.

I feel somewhat biased in saying that I absolutely loved my stay at Excellence Punta Cana because it was my first all inclusive experience. From arrival to the time they escorted us to our airport shuttle, we were catered to for any and all of our needs. The staff was friendly and always willing to assist. We did several excursions and after talking with guests from other resorts, it was very clear that we had made the right choice in Excellence. If you choose to do excursions, please know that the resort is the farthest from town and you will have a hour ride on third world country roads. It is all part of the cultural experience and we enjoyed every bit of it. You will not go wrong in choosing Excellence. Amazing pools, beds on the beaches and resort wide wi-fi. Will definitely be returning!! Thanks for a great honeymoon!
“Nicest Resort I've ever stayed at”
The place was beautiful. Make sure you do the activities because if you get to know the entertainment staff, they will make things much more enjoyable for you.

The resort was beautiful. The workers made us feel like royalty. Everyone was overly nice and accommodating. The food was amazing and plentiful. Tons of activities and events every day and night. We would go back 100 times if we could.

Location of this hotel is very good except it takes more than one hour to get there. Staff at the front desk are very helpful and very polite. Food overall is good but we do not recommend eating beef because it is usually very chewy and tough. May be they do not age the meet like we do in Canada. Sometimes one can get lucky to have a good quality tender filet of beef. Fish is always the best to eat. All international brand of alcoholic drinks are available. Beach is very nice and is kept clean. Ocean is usually very rough and one should stay away from the dangerous waves. There are two very nice swiming pools which are cleaned every day. Overall it is a very nice resort.

“Great couples resort”
This was a trip for our 1st Anniversary and we truly enjoyed ourselves. It was very nice being an adult only resort. The service is outstanding and they really do try to accomodate you. The food is pretty good...we really enjoyed Spice the best. They say you get turn down service every night, but if you are in the room, all you get is the next day's itenerary and a couple pieces of chocolate. We only had turndown service on our last night, and it was rather nice...so either invite them in to do it or leave the room. The english of most of the staff is rather limited. And the trip from the airport is atrocious! Long and VERY bumpy...filled with potholes the size of a car. So just be prepared. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was like a cruise without the ship.

From the time my wife and I arrived at the lobby, my mouth just dropped open. It's so pretty I still see it in my mind , and I would go back again. I remember reading a few negative reviews, and I find that negative people will find even something negative about heaven. That being said, I loved the people , the room, the food, God the pool. Now here is the negative, We were there for 7 days and it was red flags everyday, the waves will give you a old fashion beat down. It is what it is. I tried to go in one day and almost lost my trunks. I loved my trip and I would go again.
