“Can't wait to go back!!”
Absolutely amazing!! Love everything there the hotel the staff etc.. I can't wait to go back!
“had a great time”
We had a wonderful vacation. The only downside was all the rain but it was nothing a few rinks couldnt handle. The worst part about the resort was the language barrier even a small knowledge of spanish will help. But the restaurants were nice and different, we had the dominican and the frencha dn both were very good. The buffet was hit or miss, its nothing we as americans are use to because its not processed but the food was very good if you tried different things and you cant go wrong with the pasta bar. overall we had a great stay and would go back
“Great trip”
We had a great time and it was a beautiful hotel. It was very clean and everyone was very nice. The food in the buffet was really bad but if you get reservations at the restaurants in the hotel then it's fine!
“Our first time to DR and it was great!!!”
We are a family of 5 and loved the resort. Our boys ages 11,9&5 had lots to do and lots of fun. Rockclimbing wall, trapeze, kids pool, game room, internet all made it great. We did not try the kids camp. We loved our "family suite" with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 tv's.Musty smell to room but we got over it (bring scented candles!!) Pools were great. Activities poolside fun (Aldo is a blast!) Food wasnt that great in the buffet. The room is wide open which allowed every fly and bird in there which kind of grossed us out. Remember men should bring long pants for dinner because they will not let you in with dress shorts. My husband had to buy a pair there! Night life isnt so great. Every night is a show at 9:30 which was ok for the family but nothing else to do at night. Disco was ok but empty. Didnt even try the casino, seemed small & cheesy. Would go back but also would like to try out a different resort for comparison. Staff was polite&friendly. Resort in general was very clean and neat.
“Recommended for People Ages 25-32 Will Go Back”
Our flight arrived at 12pm, got to hotel around 1pm, notified them we will be early but they are strict on check in at 3pm so didn't get room till then which was okay because they held our bags for us while we had drinks & wandered around the resort. We were also given 2 restaurant vouchers for the time there. Please ask for yours because some people did not. I had no problems. Room: Upgrade to the deluxe room, it's worth it. We had an amazing view of both the pool & ocean (without paying extra). Room was 3335 which is 3 levels above buffet area but the noises there did not bother us as it helped us wake up early to do things. Food: Buffet was amazing itself so I wasn't worried about going to restaurants if I couldn't make the time. I did "Paris," the french restaurant which was amazing! I had no complaints, don't overeat because the food will always be there. I know people tend to overeat then do activities & complain about the food causing stomach probs, which the food is not the case. Drinks: Mama-wama shots, their specialty there! Try one, it's deadly. They got top liquor which is amazing for all inclusive. Activities: There's a board of the days with times every hour of which activity. That was fun! Night Shows: They were nice & relaxing. If it was going to rain, they had it set in the amphitheater. Beach pool party with a bonfire was amazing on sunday night. I loved this place, will recommend, & will go again! (FYI a little spanish helps)
“We will go back soon”
The hotel staff are really nice. The Hotel was faboulus. We got what we were expecting. The food was good. We enjoyed our vacaction. I really recommend this hotel.
“Can't wait to go back!!!”
Hotel was very nice. Beautiful beach.
“A nice relaxing vacation spot”
This hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very helpful... they upgraded our standard room to a deluxe room with no hesitation! The beach and pool area was amazing and very relaxing. My only "complaint" is that the food was standard grade. You were also given reservations to the various dining rooms for dinner each night and were not able to change them (the buffets ended up being the better choice). The nightly entertainment was also a bit lame, but at least the drinks were free! There is nothing to do outside of the resort area unless you sign up for an excursion package. Also, if there is more than one person in your party I would recommend taking a taxi to and from the airport/resort as it is cheaper than the hotel shuttle bus and also a lot more fun!!! All in all we loved staying at this resort and will definitely go back again!!! If all you want to do is relax in a warm beach environment there really is no better place!!!!!
“Great resort.....”
I travel often to DR but this was my first time in Punta Cana. The pools, beach, hotel was great! I'm a picky eater and there was always something I liked at the restaurants! My husband on the otherhand couldn't get enough food on his plates!
“A relaxing place to be”
This was my second time at the Barcelo Punta Cana All inclusive. And let me say it was as awesome this time as it was the last. Quick check in, awesome beach and pool (well at least the pool with the swim up bar. I never made it over to their newer quiet pool). I had nothing but great service from all my waiters/waitresses and bar tenders. Rodolfo (spelling) at the pool bar was terrific. A decent variaty of food at the buffets. I'm not a dessert person but they had some tasty desserts as well as fresh breads and soups. I am a fan of the resort and would go back again.
