Xinalani is a one-of-a-kind Retreat Center bringing together the best yoga facilities, beautiful eco-chic accommodations, delicious healthy food, relaxing spa treatments and supportive staff to make your dream retreat come true, all set on a wide pristine beach and a jungle of breathtaking natural beauty. Xinalani Retreat is about discovery, admiration, love for yoga, nature, magic, conscious travel, eco-adventure, wellness, serenity and mindful living. We aim to reveal the beauty of an unknown Mexico and share with our guests eye-opening vacations that inspire transformation.
We are an Eco Resort. We attempt to minimize our environmental impact. All guest accommodations have low consumption lights (LEDs) and are equipped with two outlets to reload cell phones and camera batteries. Our construction method was extremely organic: no concrete, no land modification, very little footprint. All guests are provided with high-end eco-friendly soaps and shampoo. Toilets are low-flow, and all water is recycled and used to irrigate our gardens. We use natural and biodegradable cleaning products, we recycle, and compost wherever possible.
Caution: Xinalani is not accessible to people with limited mobility
It was not possible to adapt Xinalani to make it accessible to people with limited mobility. On the contrary, because of our very location and setting, getting to Xinalani requires a certain level of physical fitness. Xinalani was designed for people in search of some kind of adventure. To get there, you will have to travel by panga, a small (25-30 ft) fiber glass mexican boat with an outboard engine. You will most probably wet your feet and knees as you will jump off the boat on to the beach alla Indiana Jones! Our retreat center is built on a very steep terrain and there are many many stairs, and no elevator, which is let's face it, a once in a lifetime opportunity to get back in shape.

Rooms
All the accommodations are beachfront, spacious, palm-thatched cabins floating on stilts. They were designed with refined elegance and built and furnished by local artisans. Their cozy interiors inspire feelings of calm and serenity. You will enjoy the closeness of the natural elements, the stimulation of the open-air private showers and the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from your terrace. All suites have private bathrooms, open showers and hot water. The suites are classified into 2 categories depending on their size, location and view.
Eco-Chic Suites are our higher end rooms. They are characterized by a spectacular ocean view, and a unique zen-chic setting. They are equipped either with one king size bed, or two double beds.
All Eco-Chic suites are 525 sq ft, they have a private terrace, a hammock, a sitting area, a private bathroom and a closet. They have luxurious ammenities, and amazing settings, their priviledged location on the property gives them the best view. All beds have pillow top mattress, and gorgeous mosquito netting. All rooms have an electronic safe deposit box. Hot water available in all rooms.
Our Petite Suites are our more affordable option. They are 350sq ft. and equipped with two double beds, a private terrace with an Ocean/Jungle view, a hammock, a sitting area, a complete private bathroom and a closet.
Dining
All meals are included when booking with Xinalani. While breakfast and lunch are served buffet style, dinner is plated. We focus mainly on vegetarian fare, although this does include seafood and fresh fish. Should you have any special dietary needs or requests, including if you should like to add chicken, we will be happy to oblige you at an additional cost of $25 per person per day. Recreation
There’s a wide array of activities available from the resort: surfing, snorkeling, hiking, horse back riding, cooking classes, yoga & meditation classes, massages, eco-discovery boat excursions to remote beaches and islands, or simply lying on the beach.
