“Awesome Place to Stay!!”

I have stayed at the Villas Vallarta four times and consider it to be an outstanding value hotel. I have alse stayed at many other hotels in puerto vallarta and consider this one be superior especially when the pirce is considered. The atmosphere around the pool, bar, and restaurants is outstanding and the a la carte restaurents are also very good.

“would stay here every trip”

i have been travelling to p.v. since 1998, have always stayed in mexican owned 2 bedroom condos, for a month. this trip could only go for 2 weeks, so decided to stay in a hotel, after a month of research, i choose this hotel. i was very very happy. you get what they describe, and it is more than i expected. the breakfast included was great, its not buffet, made to order, and if you want more, they gladly get it for you. nice pool area, with bartender. you can go over to sister hotel for excitement, and beach area. i booked a studio, which has a kitchen, never used anything but fridge, beautiful corriander counter tops, the nicest pots and pans,( i usually pack my own electric frying pan, because all condos i stayed in the pots i could not cook in ) . the staff are great and helpful. this hotel and area you do not have to leave the area, it has everything within 2 blocks. bank, money exchange, laundry, shopping, liquer store reasonable prices with ice, couple convienent stores, coffee shop. and a very quiet hotel, while i was there.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. My room was on the ground level and located close to the hotel desk (Room 555). The staff was extremely helpful ... hailing taxis, wake up calls, and holding luggage for a later flight ... very accommodating. The room was spacious and had all the necessary ammenities. Unfortunately we didn't need any of them. The only complaint, I had was that they needed to mop the interior of the room. I had some dirty socks. Also, the restaurant was quite a distance from the main lobby. Could be a problem for the elderly. Excellent choice for families.

“Nice hotel.”

Villas Vallarta Hotel and Condiminiums was nice and quiet. The staff was friendly, they always helped you with anything. The food was decent but not outstanding. The pool bar was great. The view was nice.

“Pleasant Experience..”

We were surpised at the spaciousness of the room, two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and dinning room. The rooms were quiet at night and the bed's comfortable. Every day they'd come in and make up the beds, leave clean towels and mop the floors. The staff was helful and friendly. It was also conveneient having a safe in the room for valuables.

“3rd Visit”

This is a typical Mexican hotel: polite and friendly staff; clean & okay rooms (make sure you don't get one in the back where the garbage is picked up); very near beach; go to main Canto del Sol (Villas Vallarta is part of Canto del Sol) for the food as is MUCH better there; very good buy for the $$

“Canto del Sol versus Villas Vallartas”

Canto del Sol Resort was fantastic. The food was great, the All Inclusive package was perfect for our trip. The pool and the beach were just what we needed to enjoy our vacation, and the activities all day were nice too. Villas Vallartas is not as nice of a hotel and we only slept there but spent the entire time at the main resort. The room itself was amazing though and twice the size of the rooms at the Resort. And it was very clean. The housekeeping staff are very detailed.
