Timeshare, not a regular hotelPosted 24-Nov-2013
Pros: The place was clean, and the pool area was pleasent
Cons: The wait staff varied from a few who were very good to some who seemed to go out of their way to ignore me.
When I booked through Expedia, I reviewed the description of the place. Nothing there said was anything except a nice resort. If I had paid more attention to a few of the negative reviews, I would have realized it was a time share. They even said as I was checking in that this was NOT a regular hotel, but that information was NOT obvious from the description. So... the first full day I was there I was subject to what was supposed to be a 90 minute presentation, that turned into 4 hours. They benefits for sitting through the presentation was a massage, a city tour, and a discount card for their store. I didn't buy anything from their store, I didn't go on the tour, and the massage was nothing special. Their massages are normally $100+ for an hour. Meanwhile, a 10 minute walk up the beach was a massage at least as good for $20 that I didn't require me to sit through 4 hours of people trying to sell me stuff. The "All Inclusive" ended up being purchased separately, and the food was mediocre at best. The wait staff varied from being reasonably good to being very poor, to the point I felt ignored at several of the meals, until one of the GOOD staff would notice me and take over my table, even though I was obviously assigned to someone else.

Pros: Good question.... Beach was alright and pools are nice.
Cons: List is to big and we are busy!!
Don't even know where to start. If you want someone to call and wake you up to get a discount card and attend a timeshare lunch then this is your place. How about calling and waking you up again in the afternoon during a well deserved nap for the exact same thing..... Restaurant is beyond overpriced. French Fries took 45 minutes pool side...... Refill on a Beer? Better to order 3 at a time on Ice. Cleaning crew like to yell to each other instead of using a radio while you are sleeping. Icing on the cake is the hotel TIPs they add to your checkout bill without asking you and then try and justify them for the staff that take care of everything behind the scenes. We always tip very well everywhere we go... Out of principle a hotel needs to ask first and not just assume and overcharge you for something you did not agree to. Internet is not 90 pesos, it is 150..... Room deposit is not 3000 pesos, it is 7000......

Very nice hotel for a relaxing vacation!Posted 5-Nov-2013
Cons: Need better internet service.
Location: Close to Bucerias and a 20 minute taxi ride to downtown Puerto Vallarta.
Great experience overall! The internet service could be better. Staff was excellent. I really liked that no one pushed for the timeshare presentation. Food was great. I would definitely stay there again!

Great location! Great service!Posted 2-Nov-2013
Pros: Beach wait service, location right on beach, ocean good for swimming and water activities, pool, staff friendliness.
Cons: The vendors on the beach can get a little old, but not sure the hotel can control this if you choose to sit at the beach.
This is the perfect all inclusive vacation spot! Starting with the basics, the hotel facilities, rooms and restaurants are all very clean and comfortable. The pools are big and broken up nicely so they don't seem too crowded. And, if you're like us and prefer the beach, it's just a few steps from the pool and rooms. The service is excellent. We were thrilled to have beach waitstaff, which isn't always the case at every resort. We were fortunate to have had Reynaldo on our first day, and he made every day of our vacation that much better. I'm not sure we ever went more than 15 minutes without him coming to check on us for new drinks or food. Restaurant service is equally good. Be sure to request Jesus and his Mexican coffee for dessert. Activities were nice to have, although not so many that you felt like you had to watch games all day. The activities and entertainment staff are all very friendly and put on short evening shows that are fun to watch while eating. We will certainly return for another stay!

Nice hotel, nice location, very calm.Posted 5-Oct-2013
Pros: Pool area, room quality, cleanliness and service.
Cons: Restaurants are a little bit pricy.
Location: Liked location, hotel is 10 min. by taxi to Bucerias, this is a small town where can do shopping and has several options for eating.
Liked the hotel. Pol area is very nice. Had a good time staying in the hotel and combined with some tours. Weather was excellent, there was not a lot of travelers, so find places in the restaurants and tours was very easy. Liked that there were no crowds.

good hotel staffPosted 27-Aug-2013
Cons: people on the airport trying to sell you timeshires
taxis are expensive, dont get any inside the airport, people will try to convince you to stay at another hotel and get you a taxi but more expensive, dont stop and get a taxi outside the airport

The best bang for my buck EVER!Posted 23-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
This was by far the best bang for my buck ever. The hotel was comparable to any of the all inclusive resorts I've stayed at in the Caribbean, although I did not use the all-inclusive package. The pools are excellent and ALL are child friendly. My 5 & 1 year old never wanted to leave the pool. The rooms come fitted with a fully equipped kitchen including plates, knives, spoons, glasses etc., so we had no problem preparing meals for the kids who were very fussy with the local food. There is a huge "MEGA" supermarket about a mile from the hotel in case you need anything. The staff were very helpful and friendly. You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the pool and beach areas. So you can stock up on beer, water and snacks etc. from the supermarket instead of paying hotel prices. Though I must say that the cocktails and food ordered pool-side were very reasonably priced. The beach areas too were very well maintained and attended by the hotel staff. There was some activity or the other taking place at all times by the hotel to keep the guests occupied. The only downside was that they had only two restaurants within the hotel, but room-service did offer most of the standard items. We only went for four days, but we were all in agreement that for the price we paid, this was definitely one of our best holidays. For the first time we had absolutely no complaints.
