“For what we paid, extremely good value.”
The hotel is clean and close to everything, food is good. Nice pools and great access to the beach. This is an extremely good value for a budget conscious traveler.
“Very Impressed”
This is my second year staying at the hotel. They really did a great job this year. The meals were excellenct and they presented them beautifuly. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Will definitely go back!”
Had a great time, very relaxing! I give the hotel at least a 4 star. Will seek another package deal for next year.
“I would stay at the Club Embarcadero Pacifico again.”
My room had a kitchen in it. I was not expecting that. I do not know if all rooms had a kitchen. It worked out well. We were traveling with three kids. One child and twin infants. It had a nice Marina view. Our hotel had rooms with Ocean views, but they were way more expensive. Puerta Vallarta was absolutely wonderful. I wish I was still their. For the money we spent, It was a good value. We liked the hotel.
“Great place”
We've just come back from a week here (March, 2007). The hotel and pools were lovely, the staff were friendly and the all inclusive meals were great; especially breakfast served overlooking the marina - the choice was excellent and it was all delicious. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the shower cubicle was huge! Overall I would rate the hotel very highly and would definitely like to go back.
“Hoping to go again soon”
The hotel was very nice and the pools were great. The service people were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. I found that even though they advertise they have more than 1 restaurant, that they only use two of them when they aren't busy and 1 week it was only buffet and then the second week it was only menu food and the menu was the same everyday for each meal. The food was good, but could use some more variety. They didn't have computers to use in the lobby but internet hookup only. All in all it was a good trip and I would go back to this hotel again.
“i would like to go back any time”
the hotel has rooms with impressive views of the marina - the rooms are very nicely and modernly decorated in marine themes - the floors and bathrooms are nicely tiled - the room is very comfortable - breakfast is luscious, the service great.
“TO DIE FOR!”
Had an awesome vacation. All inclusive is the way to go! The food was good. The staff was more than accomodating....all in all we had a wonderful time. Hope to be able to afford this again in 2011. Keep the good pricing available so we can return.
“You get what you pay for”
We just got back from our 3 night stay at Club Embarcadero. I'm sure this resort was spectacular when it was built. It is a little rough these days, but I wouldn't let that stop you from going. The grounds were constantly being attended to, and were beautiful. The pools were still a little cold, a couple more degrees would have been perfect. There was always entertainment of some sort going on. We have always stayed ocean front, and this was a nice change. It is a beautiful view of the marina, and all the big boats going by all day. We got such a fantastic deal, and after all the mixed reviews we weren't quite sure what to expect. The rooms were comfortable enough. We loved the big bathtub. The biggest issue for us were the water issues. The water was shut down during certain times during the day. On the last night our toilet clogged up and couldn't get anyone to service it. From what we hear others had this same problem. There was never a problem getting a taxi, or taking the bus into town. I know there were alot of complaints about the food, we have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and to us the food was the best of anywhere we had ever stayed. If you go know that you are going to a 2 1/2 star resort, I think you will be pleased. Even with the water issues. We would probably go back again.
