The Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta Resort features an 18 hole, par 71 championship golf course at the Nuevo Vallarta Golf and Tennis Club. This 4-star resort also provides a half-mile private beach, where the full-service Brio Spa offers massage in thatched-roof palapas. Guests can relax on the lazy river or at the poolside bar. The aquatic area offers a flume slide and a 52,500-square foot wave pool.
Buffet breakfasts and à la carte dinners are served under the pergola at Samba restaurant, while Mondo includes a restaurant and lounge bar, as well as a library and billiards. 24-hour room service is also available.
This family-friendly property also offers games, arts and crafts, and entertainment for younger guests at Mayamigos Kid's Club.

“Very Impressed”
Our family had a great time staying at this beautiful hotel. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. However they have a very agressive time share and it took us over 4 hours to get out of it (they only tell you it takes 90 minutes).

Great resort loved the weather in mid January 2010. Although I felt a little out of place only because it was snow bird season ( seniors citizens ) Great resort. It is all that I expected and more.
“The Grand Mayan Wyndham Nuevo Vallarta Resort, FAB!!!”
Everything was perfect!!! We have twin 2 year old boys and I could not ask for a more perfect place to go they had everything we needed for the kids and adults. Ofcourse we got the timeshare push, but we firmly explained we where here to relax and where not interested and they then left us alone. We can not wait to go back, I wish we could have stayed an extra week!!

Hotel was great! Beautiful place and the beach was terrific. We thought the daily coffee should be included in the steep price, but they charged $3.50 per day for the packet. After negotiating with the management, they dropped the charges. Hotel was very good about listening to the guests!
“Fabulous hotel”
The Grand Mayan was truly wonderful. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, the grounds are beautiful, the pools were terrific (yay lazy river!), the room was big and beautiful. Really a fantastic place.
“Relax, Relax”
This hotel has it all, we enjoyed it very much. If you really want to relax and enjoy a wonderful vacations spend the time there. Ideal for Kids, the Kids club is very nice and they keep the children with a lot of activities, the lazy river is fantastic and so is the waves pool, you also must try the slider. The rooms are pretty big a very nice.

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. The pools are all over the place. The beach is private and nice and quiet. The lazy river is so refreshing. The kids will love the kiddy water park. The food is great. This hotel is perfect for every age.

“Great place to stay!”
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this pace through Expedia and very recently stayed here for 5 days. We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. We got the Master Suite, which was really homey with a balcony and a hot tub in the bathroom, which also opened up into the bedroom. It was very clean and very romantic. Since our trip was during the off season, the lazy river was under construction, but the pool was very clean and fun. Activities and music in a centralized area all day, but you could also have peace and quiet in other areas. Wave pool and slide was super fun. We did not get hassled at all, only asked once during check out, regarding any interest in attending a meeting for a time share. We polite fully declined and were not hassled. There are a few restaurants onsite, none with real great authentic Mexican food, but were better than ok. Portobellos is a quick taxi ride and the food was geat. Service and the people at this resort were very friendly and helpful with our broken Spanish. We were very happy staying here and would definitely return, perhaps during their non-rainy season.
