“Taheima”
Taheima was like heaven on earth! If you are looking for a place that is quiet, beautiful, and has delicious healthy mealsTaheima is definitely the right choice for a vacation. In addition, the management takes great pride with providing exceptional customer service. The staff truly will go above and beyond for their guests. Hats off to the Taheima Wellness Resort & Spa for a job well done! I look forward to visiting in the future.
“Paradise on the Earth”
Just got back from this marvelous, amazing resort. We stayed from Feb 7 to 11, 2012. It is paradise on the Earth. The views of the rooms are awesome the food is excellent. Hotel is very quiet you can read a book in a nice atmosphere the pools are huge and very nice, the balcony is beautiful!!! We had a HUGE room with kitchenet and all accessories.
“Stay Taheima!”
Was everything is promised and more! I rated the quality a 4 because the WiFi was not always good and the pool orders sometimes took a bit too long (45 minutes for 2 drinks on one occasion) But OVERALL I would recommend Taheima to all of my friends & family, and I would certainly stay at there again!
“Nice, but quiet”
Overall, the hotel was good. Most of the staff were incredibly helpful and nice (except the lady who checked us in at reception was not that helpful at all). The yoga instructor and temeczal instructor were very knowledgeable, open and willing to teach. The reason I only gave this place a 3 out of 5 is because 1)location and 2)food. If you're looking for something not near all the other resorts, then go here-it's in a place called Paradise Village which is just a bunch of vacation condos and houses. The result is that there isn't any authentic mexican food, and not a lot of restaurant options besides at the hotel. The food at the hotel wasn't great, it was an international cuisine-it wasn't bad but I'm a bit disappointed. The service by the pool wasn't exceptional. I also didn't know this before I went but they don't serve alcohol until after 5 which is not great, but I also found it didn't matter because they barely put alcohol in any cocktails anyway (order a shot or wine if you want something stronger!). The other thing about the location is that you can go sit on the beach but there's not really any rentals for jet skiing or paddleboarding. If you want options and stuff to do, don't stay here. For some reason, for every meal we ate at the restaurants at the resort, they got our order wrong. It wasn't that big of a deal and we found it amusing but really??
“Not a traditional all-inclusive”
This is a nice quiet resort that is designed for full title owners. To ensure a fresh group of prospects, an all-inclusive type of booking was designed. The food is presented well, service is painfully slow. Seems as if they are limiting the food and drinks to conserve money. Pool service is an hour wait to order and an hour wait to get your drinks or food. Pool service starts at noon. Two pools, one waiter. Nicest warmest pool we have experienced, ever. Beach club is a shared beach with Bajia del sol, shuttle is intermitent at best, longer walk to beach then we expected. Food is good at beach club for lunch only and alcohol is extra. Great walking beach. Seems as if the staff is inexperienced. Cleaning was intermittent, bathroom sink not wiped down, requested sheets not replaced, we were not put off by it, just surprised. This is a different type of all-inclusive experience, if this is your first time to an all-inclusive you will think you are in heaven, if you have experienced all inclusive before, you will be disapointed. The wellness, health aspect “classes” have been scaled way back, again that conserve funds part. The rooms are new, fresh, large. I have had better, and worse. The resort is small but intimate. I would likely not stay again, probably a Riu Palace stay for a few dollars more with the authentic all inclusive feel, and more important being right on the beach. For disclosure, I am from Minnesota in my early 60’s and traveled with my wife.
